    Needle price discrepencies?

Why do needles + syringes vary so much in price? Not just site to site, which can be 10x-15x as much as I paid for mine, but even within some sites. The same size and brand, 3ml 25g 1" needle Luer Lock Syringe. Is there a huge quality jump in needles?

I pay like $0.04 a piece at the local pharmacy, have never had a problem. Although the cashiers give me some funny looks when I go to check out with 100+ needles and am twice the size of anyone in the building.

Wow, never thought about the needle sharpness. That's great, cause I'll be pinning eod for 10 weeks, lol.

edit: pretty sure they wont sell needles here OTC. I believe just needles + syringes are considered drug paraphernalia.

I'm under the impression things like needles, syringes, pipes, etc. are not considered paraphernalia unless obvious signs of drug use are visible (i.e. residue, residual oil, etc.); otherwise, imagine the hell diabetics, etc. would be going through.
