think i need to get a new doctor?
got bloodwork done last week and went over it with my Dr the other day and on the report it said normal levels 249 ng/dl - 849 ng/dl. my test level was 303 ng/dl. im 25 years old and i was really disappointed with those numbers. i told him i wanted to get up to at least mid range or something. but he said "no you dont" i said "yes i do"... then he said i wouldnt tell the difference. then i was thinking if theres no difference between 300 ng/dl and 500 ng/dl then what if i was at 100 ng/dl? would there not be a difference between 100 ng/dl and 300 ng/dl? i wouldnt see the harm in doing something to boost my levels. i think my doctor is too conservative. anyone think i should find a new doctor. i mean, had to litterally beg him to send me to a specialist about my puberty gyno. i mean i was actually begging him. think i should get a new doctor?

Uh......yea. Most of todays docs are very much against prescibing any test.

find a bio-identical hormone doctor. They are more liberal than other docs

bro, my test was 300 or so, my doc put me on 200mg test/week and jump to 2500.
find one that's listen to you.

dude! i need a doctor like yours! haha. but i talked to a buddy of mine who had the same problem. but granted hes 40 and he said he was at 40 ng/dl. but he gave me the name of his doctor and said even if i was at 600 ng/dl he would get me up to the top level. so im looking forward to feeling the difference

^because you are still considered normal. Doctors are very hesitant to do something that can be shown isnt necessary due to malpractice.

yeah but to have the range of "normal" be 250-850 sounds ridiculous to me. so someone could have almost 3x my test level and still be normal. that just isnt fair haha.

with my labs, the range was 280-1020, but just keep going over your symptoms

well the reason why i had my bloodwork done is cuz i took some prohormones when i was younger that the owner of my gym sold me and didnt explain what they were. it was that tren -extreme from American celular labs. and didnt know what they were until my friend told me recently that they apparently had the clear in it, my friend also has hypogonadism told me to get my levels checked. so i figured id get checked. over the past few years iv been getting a lot more tired, weaker, erection difficulty (works most times but hard to maintain), very irritable (my family and girlfriend say).
only cycle ive done was a mild var only cycle (50mg) back in october and i did pct with it. but i felt like this before i ran it. i just want to feel better, not just have high test levels

yup yup... told him all that and he told me since i didnt have a complete loss of libido im fine. which my libido is still alright i guess but its not like it used to be. and as far as being tired and weak he said to have my GF look for signs of sleep apnea while im sleeping. which the only thing i do that would suggest sleep apnea is snoring. i asked my girlfriend if i snore a lot and she said shes only heard me snore 3-4 times out of 5 years being together. so im pretty sure i dont have sleep apnea.
im usually pretty good at reading body language. when i was talking to him he was giving me a bad vibe. like he was bullshitting me.

there are good doctors out there just keep asking around. I'm on HRT but I'm 45 and just started this year. I found it cheaper to get it from UL after I found a great source from a vet on this board. pharm grade was killing me from a regular pharmacy. Alot of plans don't cover it. I'm also in the middle of my second cycle and then ill go back to HRT. I feel awesome and cant believe I lived liked that... good luck don't give up all men should feel great and great in the bedroom.

I had the same problem with my insurance company. The range of what is "normal" is very wide. So, my doc prescribes it, but I have to pay full price... CVS is not so bad, but I have to supplement it with UL products... kinda nice to have both available..
