    thyroid and aas+ cortisol connection

    hey guys

from some time i did bloowork while taking 500 mg of test per week.

my thyroid panel came back high normal, this surprised me since my morning cortisol came back higher than normal and i know that high cortisol levels actually suppress thyroid function.

in addition, i read that AAS decrease thyroid output too.

so my question is this, does cortisol and my use of AAS at that time affected my thyroid results that much ?

i am asking this because i have issues with my dopamine and prolactin.

by the way, everytime i take T3/T4 combo , my symptoms go away and my prolactin gets lower , i become more relaxed, stress free etc.... even my resting heart rate improves.

please i really need someone to shed some light on this urgently.

    thanks

I think it has something to do with competition for receptor sites in your body. I COULD BE TERRIBLY WRONG, but i seem to remember reading something about aas taking up receptor sites for cortisol, causing your body to up cortisol to sompensate. As to why your thyroid hasn't been suppressed yet, it could depend how far along you are in your cycle.
