Doc just gave me Test...what now?

So I am new here and appreciate the help. Here are my stats:

40 years old
6'2"
162#
18% BF

Ive always been skinny and have struggled to put on size even after 2 years of lifting.

My free testosterone came back on the low end (9.3 where the low cutoff was 9.0 and high is 30.0). So doc gave me 200ug testosterone today. I'm to go back in 2 weeks and again in 4 weeks for two more shots then get re-tested.

I'd like to consider adding to what he's giving me to maximize results but not sure if I should hold off until I see what happens. I'm guessing just let the doc-prescribed test do it's thing for a while take one thing at a time?

But if now is the time to maximize my gains because I'm taking the test, then maybe I should add to it?

Any advice is appreciated.

I would wait because you never know if the doc is going to up the dose or down the dose. Once you see that he has you on a constant dosage THEN add something else in.

I don't know anything about trt but I would be careful adding other compounds right now. If any tests come back abnormal (not sure what hes testing for other than free and probably total test) as a result of adding other drugs, he might catch on and pull the plug on the whole thing real quick.

I've read a bit about trt and it's very interesting.... I suggest that you do a bit of research before overriding your docs educated opinion... Ive read about men in a similar position taking 200 a wk and having multiple positive results.... but you wouldn't ever know if you changed things up at this point... again your own research would be best. Have to agree w pstacks

hold off.. he won't stop giving it to you if you are in the normal/high range.. but if you are uber high he will stop injections..
