    Advice on getting started

I am 35 6'2" I have done powerlifting, body building and triathlons. The best I have ever achieved was fat and strong to skinny with a faded four pack. I have a bachelors degree in exercise physiology and a doctorate in dental surgery. My wife and son had cancer this last three years have been terrible to say the least. My physique has totally gone to crap. I have started a body building routine bunt I don't want to do what I have done in the past which is work out twice a day eat perfectly and achieve skinny with faded four pack or strong and fat. I have an apt with an anti aging dr to seek his advice but I found this site and was intrigued. I weigh 224 with about 27 percent body fat. Do I get in shape the best I can first and then do my first cycle or can I do a cycle to help me cut and get in shape?

It would be best to cut that bodyfat in half first, then cycle.
The more bodyfat you're packing, the higher your estrogen levels will get from the test (since the aromatase enzyme is highly concentrated in adipose fat tissue).
This will increase your chances of gyno and high blood pressure, among other things.

you can use an AI to counter the aromasin , but what bonaparte said, watch the bp
i was probably low 20% when i started my last cycle

    bp got to 140/80
(pre cycle it was perfect at 120/70)
weight went from 237 to 258 at 5'10
with that being said, there is no doubt i lost bf on this cycle

next cycle, i think im going to try to get to 210-220 prior to cycling to keep my weight from getting too high
imo, it doesnt matter if its fat or muscle, the more weight u put on, the harder it is on your body
