clomid throughout eq/winny cycle?

I was talking to a friend of mine who is pretty experienced with AS and he advised me to take clomid throughout my eq/winny cycle to maintain my natural testosterone production. I wanted to see what you guys thought of this, because I have heard that taking clomid during your cycle will limit your gains.

I just use it post cycle and personally will never use it during my cycle.
