    First injection, soreness

    Hi guys,

Did my first injection on Thursday, still sore. Today was leg day and I just sucked it up but it was incredibly painful.

Will it be like this every single time I inject? Any tips to not make it hurt so much? After the injection, I put a lot of pressure on it for a minute and was told that would make it better.

    Thanks

And I did read about massaging the spot, and injecting slower to make it hurt less. But my main concern, and I had a hard time finding the answer, was if the shots will be less painful after the first few?

Most shots will be a little painful regardless, cause they contain BA to ensure it's sterile. But aside from this... injecting into a loose muscle (dont be tense when you pin) massaging it and just getting used to it will make it less and less painful. First time injections in any 'new' spot tend to be more sore. I remember my first calve injection... holy fuking gawd.

Its virgin muscle pain. The first time you use a site is usually the worst

Yup, I shot 1ml of Test E with a 23 gauge on my left quad, and I played around with it a little while it was in there, so I'm sure that didn't help much! Thanks guys, hopefully it won't be as painful a few shots down the road. It really makes leg days unbearable.

Well you can't "play around with it" you're causing micro trauma to the muscle that way. Stick it like a dart and switch to a 25ga pin and you'll be gtg

Prob will help. Some other things you should try: warming the gear, switching to a 25g needle because it forces you to inject slower, if using the 23g just shoot very slow... Most likely your gonna have soreness since its your first round though.

Also want to add that depending on what UGL gear you have, its BA content could be pretty high, which sucks.
