thats strange because i would think amplues are much harder to make and more expensive, so i would think if your going to get ripped off they would choose the cheapest way possible.

It's all about cost/benefit. If a person thinks in the long run they could make more scamming using amps since people are less likely to suspect anything then that person would do it. Profit is still profit.

Exactly. It is a difficult and expensive process but the market for human grade gear in amps is very large and easy to be fooled in. If they make an amp that closely resembles the real thing then they can potentially make a ton of money off of it

Here is how easy ampoule making can be. You can buy empty amps and fill and seal them yourself.
