Taking clomid DURING long cycles

I was talking to a bodybuilder (he competes). He said during long cycles when his sex drive drops he takes 5-10 days of clomid 1-2 tabs per day (50mg-100mg) DURING his cycle. He says it brings his sex drive back to normal during the cycle.

Has anyone heard of this?

I have. Never tried it but a buddy of mine does that as well. Luckily, I havn't needed to try it(fingers crossed)

I've heard it's taken by porn starts as well for...uh...larger volume shall we say.

I've heard of this as well- even though it may do something for sex drive it won't do anything to help with post cycle recovery as far as i know.

I've heard of plenty of people who do it. I know people who run 50mg ED throughout their entire cycle...personally I use it every now and then when I'm out with a new chick for fun since it does increase volume.

Well, my buddy always uses test but sometimes it's far less than other androgens/anabolics in his system

I can see someone having a sex drive issue on that cycle.

I have heard of people running Clomid during a cycle for this particular reason but never have done it myself.

The bodybuilder with whom I spoke uses testosterone as the base of all his cycles. He says that, at the beginning of the cycle, his sex drive shoots way up then it slowly drops down--sometimes very low. Apparently, this is common on longer cycles.

Lots of people use clomid during a cycle to prevent testicular atrophy. I don't think it would do much for your sex drive since it will not increase test levels but some believe recovery is easier (due to the lack of testicular atrophy). It has become more popular as of late.

I use HCG on longer cycles myself. The only bad thing about it is that my back grows like I am a gorilla.
