too much testosterone ??? very weird question
hey guys,
ok i know this will sound really weird, but i need to lower my testosterone levels a little bit.
i have a very high test level naturally which is causing me problems.
my level is about 1100 ng/dl, which is above normal which is 800 ng/dl, some labs have it 1000 ng/dl. sooo... i'm kind of supraphysiological.
it is affecting me because it is causing too much dopamine, and because of that i am experiencing downregulation of dopamine receptors which is causing a host of symptoms just like drug addicts have when they get off opiates.
i hope some expert chime in because this is a little bit of a rare case.
how can i lower my test to make it become about 700-800 ng/dl.

What symtoms are you experiencing? How do you know your dopamine receptors are being downregulated? Have you had any tests done so far? Have you been tested for a ataxin 1 defeciancy? Do you have a genetic history of Huntington’s
disease in your family?

This is contrary to normal subjects that take dopamine agonists's, so I dont quite follow.
Those who have high dopamine levels experience greater senses of pleasure (orgasims) not a lowered level because "they have lost sensitivity through DR down-regulation"...
You sure your problem is dopamine?
How do you know dopamine is high and its your problem?

If you want to bring down dopamine, stay the f*ck away from Vit B6.

well, i know for a fact that too much dopamine actually downgrade your dopamine receptors.
remember my problem with my prolactin swift ? the doc gave me dostinex, i noticed that when i took it, my symptoms actually INCREASED, ANYTHING that increase dopamine is giving me more problems and not the opposite, i get a high for a little time then a horrible crash with symptoms like:
bodily pain.
lack of orgasm
low libido
increased appetite and craving sugar and fatty stuff
anhedonia
lack of strength and energy
anxiety
high cortisol
and by the way, these things are especially very apprent in the MORNING and get better as the day goes along.
its really weird.
by the way another question, anyone knows how long it takes for dopamine receptors to upregulate?? a few days, weeks, months ?? any idea swift?
