one week halotestin before strongman comp?

Im one week out from a strongman comp and a buddy gave me a handful of halotestin , enough to take 30mg a day for the week. He swears by using it for the week leading up, but in my head Im thinking that's not enough time to make a difference. So do i scrap them or just say to hell with it and take it? I've ramped my doses up high already as it is on my sust and tren e going from 750-1000mg sust and tren e going from 600-900mg with npp also added in these last three weeks at 100mg eod.

of course I talked to a pro the other day and he says he just starts his orals 2 weeks out from competition.
