Hi, it may seem like a silly Q, but was wondering can supplementing with HGH increase your running spped/pace etc?
Obviously, it may be of interest to someone who is a sprinter

Yeah, I've head it can help with track performance but, im still unsure, as to whether it can directly affect sprint performance. I.e. Make you run faster

No mate..i will not be drug tested...im an amateur footballer
It'll make you faster, but there's joint pain involved. Not sure exactly how it works. I tried doing a search for some studies but couldn't find any.
I'll look in some other places, but if I don't post by tonight it's because I couldn't find any.

Cheers johnny, I tried finding some studies myself, but no luck.
Am aware of the joint pain
Yup no luck here either.

YES of course GH is used by sprinters!! It's used by a lot of world class athlete because first of all, it's undetectable. Here is a sample cycle (according to that article from Charlie Francis http://www.testosterone.net/articles/180ana.html )
"The athletes were using a 12-week administration of Anavar and Halotestin (administered transdermally) as well as GH (2.5 IU, 3x/week), injections of ATP, AMP with embryonic calf cell preparation 3x/week, insulin (1.5 IU up to 3x/week), as well as EPO. Yes, they even use EPO in the 100 meters!"
Also about Ben Johnson, no flame here and granted, Stanozolol is what he got busted for ok... BUT if Ronnie Coleman tested positive for Diuretics, would you also assume that it is "WHAT" helped him get where he's at?
The fact is that Ben Johnson didn't even like Winny as it made his joints very stiff. And he was on numerous other compounds like furazobol, turinabol, test and low doses of D-bol (from "the Speed Trap" and other articles). He tested positive for Test after his "comeback".

Much agreed.

The reason I said yes is, if he used a diuretic to shread the fat when he won the O. Then yes they did help him get where he is. JMOOriginally posted by raoul3

True but it wasn't necessarily all he used.
