Steroids that bind strongly to the androgen receptor?

I have tried researching this but i get so many conflicting opinions, so i'm wondering if anyone here knows.

Test aside, what are the best steroids for binding to the androgen receptor? I have heard Anavar is pretty good for this but there has to be more?

Tren been shown to bind to the AR greater than Testosterone and even nandrolone

It appears that oxandrolone binds rather well to the AR, possibly even more so than Testosterone or nandrolone

Testosterone is unique in that it's been shown to increase the number of beta adrenergic receptors (this phenomenon can increase the effectiveness of beta-2 agonists like ephedrine and clenbuterol as well as exercise induced lipolysis) and may also alter Hormone Sensitive Lipase (HSL) in a positive manner

    Stanozolol (Winstrol)
As I noted earlier, this androgen is unique in that it binds to the microsomal AR in adipose tissue in order to exert its effects.

I'm assuming your asking due to fat loss as a result of high AR binding potencial?

If so visit my profile and click on the T nation article for dieting on steroids

    good luck

Well yes for fat loss and muscle. I am interested in the reason why steroids seem to affect the deltoids and trap muscles more so than other muscle groups. A bit of research suggests it is because these muscles contain more androgen receptors. My thinking, and i could be way off here, is that steroids that bind well to the androgen receptors will be better at stimulating these muscle groups.

How fast a certain muscle responds by growth varys from one person to the next...with or without the use of steroids.

your traps and shoulders growing faster then other muscles are due to genetics and the way you train, it has nothing at all to do with steroids binding strongly to AR receptors.

I would think the quads would have the most muscle cells thus receptors since they are the largest muscle in the body..

There is research out there that shows those muscles carry the largest amount of AR's, along with the quads. Yes genes account for the amount of AR's in that muscle compared to the next person, but in relation the rest of your muscle groups they still hold a higher percentage.
