    Estro question.

As I understand it, exemestane bonds to the aromatase enzyme and renders it unable to aromatize test into estro. Therefore it has no effect on the estro already in my body. my question is, what is the half life of estro. basically, how long will it take for the levels to drop once I have reduced the aromatization of test into new estro.

Estrogen is primarily metabolized by cyp 3a4 and cyp1a1 /1a2. The rate by which it will be removed from your body is an interdependant factor based largely upon the levels of these cyp enzymes present. These levels vary from individual to individual - age and even race play a role in the levels present. If there is an "average" rate of elimination I do not personally know it.

Does anybody have a ballpark idea about this? Are we talking about a couple of days, or a couple of weeks here?
