    Do you train while sick?

I have been sick for almost 2 weeks with pneumonia. My doc says to not work out when I'm sick cause it will prolong the sickness. The problem is I'm on the last three weeks of my cycle and I feel like I'm wasting the time I have. On the other hand i want this to be done with asap. Will working out while I'm sick make it last longer? Also I have very little energy but I figure going and doing something would b better than nothing.

no, stay at home. your immune system will be low and you'd be inviting a host of illness into your body

Its the same with injuries. Kinda just have to sit around and let it heal. I know it sucks big time waiting around, but pneumonia is no joke. You work out on that, and you will be sick indefinately. Just be lazy for a few weeks and then hit the gym hard again once you are better.

Good luck bro. Pneumonia sucks, I know.

With your illness I would not train. It will just hinder your recovery and maybe even supress your immune systme even further.

Supplement some glutamine... will boost your immune system and help repair/protect your muscle tissue from damage from the sickness.. rest up and hit it hard when you're better.. as they said working out will only lower your bodys immune system.

The only reasonable solution is to drop everything but the test, and lower that to maybe 200mg/week. This will be the best thing for your immune system, and you won't be wasting gear. When you get healthy, run the last of your gear to help regain what you lost from being sick, then go into PCT.

Bro go get you a high concentrate of Oregano Oil (TASTE TERRIBLE AND BURNS LIKE A BITCH IN YOUR MOUTH), good stuff will cost you like 30$ and change. Dont get the cheap crap. Also go get you a clove of garlic and some honey, mix the two and just swallow it. I swear to god you will get better in a matter of a two days. I was in Bosnia and had to walk for 4 days to get back to Croatia, -0 degree weather, socks wet etc. Got terribly sick and an old Croatian woman took care of me and that is what they gave me...Ive used that for the past 6 years now and I swear to god ive been full on sick twice in that time. Try it out, you wont be going to your chemical Dr. anymore

Note, when you mix the garlic and honey, you can kill the whole clove....due atleast half of it. Also do it for the next say four days to totally get it out of your system.

Using sickness as an excuse not to train is stupid...BUT NOT IN YOUR CASE!!! You need to rest and get well. Stressing your body at this point could prove fatal.

OK, now I'm interested. What were you doing in the Balkans?
Was this in a period of civil war? Were you a combatant?
