Opinion: Online vs. Local

I'm curious on what everyone thinks is better in terms of not getting scammed and getting real gear. Do you think an online order or picking up gear from a local guy?

Local... cause even if you do get scammed you can always get your $$ back...

i wouldnt buy off online. i think its too risky. many of them are scammers.

Where do you think the people who sell locally get there stuff from? There are many good, trust worthy supps online, But as always check with the mods before ordering to be safe. ddrew

a good reliable online source is clutch and it will save you a ton of money. local prices are high because all the middle men have to make their buck. with an online source your effectively cutting out the middle men...........well at least some of them

Well based on the wording of your question the answer is local since he will have the gear when you buy it and you can see what you are getting. Since you didn't ask about price that is what makes most go to online sources however the potential to get scammed is always their because even the best of sources turn scammer sometimes.
