Steroid use and steroid abuse ?

I have been reading quite a bit on here and to be totally honest i find it all a bit hard to take in. I think the main reason that i am confused is that in the UK i know a lot of people who have cycled gear many different times and some have used many different courses also, some even have competed upto nabba and national levels. These men that i know never talk of the details in the way that the useres on here do, and as far as Pct is concerned they take ' a bit of clomid if your nipples get a bit sore '
Are these men abusing steroids? Or are they just poorly educated in this field? I would normally ask these peoples advice on all things related to AAS but now, the more i read the more reluctant i am to seek there advice. I am looking to see if using hgh and winstrol together is advisable and what way i should take the two, but i would much rather be too careful than being wreckless about it, and as for pct i'd need to know a bit more than what my mates tell me.

My best advice to you is this:

Consider all information you obtain, from your mates, from the boards and from other resources. Once you have taken in all you can find, draw your own conclusions.
There are a ton of stickies and threads for PCT and they will answer any question you have but you have to "look" for the answers. We are all here to help but we also prefer when someone does some research for themselves rather than standing with their hands out to lazy to search.

In the end of the day, no matter how much advice or stuff you read about or are told from others, you are unique and will react in your own way to the cycle you chose to undergo. Everyone is different and reacts in a different way.

What is OK for one guy may be the absolute devil for another.

Also, something to think about is maybe just trying a test only cycle or two to establish how you react, before stacking compounds and things like orals and HGH etc. See how your body reacts to one thing at a time. Otherwise if you have probs, how will you know what the cause is?

I know a guy who had complete liver shutdown from a non-oral cycle. Not sure the exact dynamics of his health or if the AAS really was the culprit but that's just an example of how some people react poorly to their gear or the compounds they are using. Not to scare you though just an example. You can't take what anyone says for absolutism, you got to see what works for you. And it is a risk, but that's something you'll have to decide on your own too.

A few of these folks i know who had been abusing gear have since stopped, everything, including training and now look like nothing to be honest, crazy ! After a long hard think about this and the comments above i decided i'd give hgh a try, currently running gentropin about 2.5- 3 iu a day and have seen a bit of fat loss and muscle gain, no real sides other than a bit sweaty tbh, think ill cycle until xmas at least, i had actually thought about running primo along with it but i don't wanna run test and i dont want to shutdown so think i'll give it a miss!

For the rest of us water intake - lots of water intake is a must to keep something like that from happening. Is the water in Diet soda, tea, coffee also count ? I read some place that it DOES count, contrary to what was ones believed.
Other than that, multi vitamins . What else? listen to your own body ?
I remember long time ago I cycle some component and after like 4 weeks I started getting heartburn from hell. It would not go away . i basically stopped that component and it worked.
Any other precautions, please advise? I will be starting another cycle in about 1 month

One of the primary advantages of the board is the free exchange of information and ideas. Your mates when discussing AAS with you, may just be giving you the highlights, and might be skipping over their own pct use. Hard to tell.

Water counts regardless the form, whether from green veggies, iced tea, or diet soda. We try to avoid all the junk that comes WITH diet soda, and so therefore, simply prefer plain water.

There are a few other supplements other than a multi vitamin you may wish to consider
    Fish Oil
Vit C & E - right before workout to help eliminate alot of the free radicals produced as a result of the workout
    Arginine

    Food Supplements also:
    BCAA
    Creatine Mono
    Whey powder

There will be others that will add and grow this list, but I believe this to be the basics
