Creatine I found worked best after workout, taking it before was a waste of product. I tried both ways, post workout with some low acid fruit juice worked the best.

But to be honest, with a proper diet, most of them supplements (bcaa, glut, tar) are not needed, so unless your deficient somewhere, I wouldn't worry to much about them.

    Agree.
I take it for the psychological factor, and it works

I usually only take bcaas during cut or long cardio session other than that you should be good with the food you take in on a bulk. Taurine I have never got much out of except for reduced cramps. I would also say use glutamine but post workout being best is a misconception it interferes with absorption of protein in post shake better to take with other meals through the day.

Bcaa's can be great if you are cutting! take them 3-5 times spread out in between meals really help hold onto mass! they are great while bulking as well but the results are not as noticable unless you are taking 20 plus grams at a time which can become costly!

BCAAs are best used during excercise (espeically for longer cardio sessions), when your digestion process is slowed to a crawl but you still need fuel to avoid catabolism.

Any other time, you're best off just eating food/normal protein.

If u wanna get technical about it, it kind of matters.

For energy, when a muscle contracts, it uses a stored substance called "ATP".
Every living cell uses this for energy.
This only happens for the very few first seconds, before the muscle utilizes carbohydrate sources.
Creatine is the compound used to immediately replenish these ATP stores.
So creatine, along with Free Form Aminos (on an empty stomach), PRE-WORKOUT, will be the ultimate way to restore muscle energy.
I take my Creatine just prior to workout, and usually bring my waterbottle premixed with Aminos.
However I never go to the gym with an empty stomach, just doesen´t feel right. It´s usually full of oatmeal and bananas. Even though the absorption of the Aminos will not be as good......but I don´t care.

I take my BCAA´s post workout as they are protein bound, and does not have the same absorption rate as Free Form which is predigested.
Which is also the reason I spend the extra money and get hydrolyzed whey for my post workout shake.

This is all bro science of course. But it makes sense to me. And works, I think...

craetine builds to a peak in your system when you supplement, it does not matter when you take it

    .
Wrong. Creatine takes a while to build up in muscle tissue.
This stored creatine then continually produces ATP.
Taking creatine does not instantly or directly replenish ATP stores, which is why it does not matter when you take it.

Doesn't matter when you take the creatine.

BCCAAs are best taken on an empty stomach, and one way to do this (as I do) is sip on bcaas throughout the day between meals....and during training of course.

What is the difference between BCAA (proteinbound) and Free Aminos (pre digested) in the way and at what time you consume them?
