    Back pumps

    Ok stats first:

    31yo
    189 (as of yesterday)
    5-9
    bf% 13-14
Training for 3 yrs probably. Started about a year before signing up on here, then found this site and started trainging seriously with a diet plan also.
Cycles: 2 Previous. Test 500 and deca 300, then a prohormone (spawn clone). I did post another cycle on here but it was bunk gear. Was test/dbol.

    Current Cycle:

    Test C 400 1-12
    Deca 200 1-10
    Dbol 40mg 1-4
Anavar 7-13 (decided wanted a clean week before pct) Bad?
Ran ldex .25mg ed for 6 wks. Recently stop, because no signs of gyno, going to see how the next 2 weeks play out, and might start up finsh the bottle and cycle with it.

So there is all my info. I really never had any problems with back pumps, and honestly never asked questions about them, so not sure what they really are. But from what i have recently read, basically like a cramp which could make it hard for you to walk or so forth???

Well im into week one of my anavar. Not getting back pumps per say, but cant they be anywhere on the body or any muscle???

Everyday day for the past 4 days, my lower quads lock up...they dont fully cramp, but they always feel like they will. maybe i catch it in time. But this happens through out the entire day. Always with lower quads (just above the knee cap). The only other place this happens but not as often is the widest part of my pecs. But happens maybe 1-2 a day.

So are these basiclly back pumps? And has to be from the anavar i guess, since it just started. Never read any where that anavar would do this.

Last question would be is there anything i can do to prevent?

Im drinking 1.5 gallons a day. One banna for potassium with my pst workout shake. Drinking 1.5 lters through a workout.

Thanks guys. if i forgot anything let me know please.

You've been training for only 3 years and you've already got 2 cycles under your belt? Uhh

The Dbol is most likely your smoking gun. People can come up with things for relief and you can google them, but I don't think any of them really work. Either you deal with it or you just stop taking it.

not on dbol anymore. Shows that dbol was wks 1-4. shows i started anavar wk 7.

2 cycles yes, and been training seriously for 3 years. I do not count anything before although i was in the gym before that for about a total of 7

You may want to look to your diet to help relieve the cramping. Potassium in bananas is known to brwak down lactic acid which is a cause of cramping. Gatoraid is a good source (- the sugar) for the ingredients to fully hydrate your body and possibly help.

Hope this helps? I too suffer from very bad cramps when on a cycle. I am currently looking into this problem and will pass on when I get results.

Drugs, other than drugs for PD, that can cause muscle cramps include: Water pills (diuretics), antipsychotic medications, such as chlorpromazine (Thorazine) or haloperidol (Haldol), estrogens, alcohol, drugs called calcium channel blockers that are used to treat high blood pressure, lithium. Muscle cramps may also occur when you suddenly stop taking some drugs such as steroids or opiates.

Muscle cramps are very common among endurance athletes (i.e., marathon runners and triathletes) and older people who perform strenuous physical activities.

Heat, dehydration and electrolyte depletion: Muscle cramps are more likely when you exercise in hot weather because sweat drains your body’s fluids, salt and minerals (i.e., potassium, magnesium and calcium). Loss of these nutrients may also cause a muscle to spasm.

Calcium deficiency: Muscle spasms can be due to lack of calcium in your food or malabsorption of calcium as calcium is vital in relaxing muscles. (Remember your calcium/potassium should be in balance) Check this via a nutrition column on a good website.

    When to see the doctor
Although most muscle cramps are benign, sometimes they can indicate a serious medical condition. See your doctor if cramps are severe, happen frequently, respond poorly to simple treatments or are not related to obvious causes like strenuous exercise. You could have problems with circulation, nerves, metabolism, hormones, medications or nutrition. Muscle cramps may be a minor part of many conditions such as Lou Gehrig’s disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), spinal nerve irritation or compression (radiculopathy), hardening of the arteries, narrowing of the spinal canal (stenosis), thyroid disease, chronic infections and cirrhosis of the liver.

Give the doctor your medical history including details about allergies, illnesses, injuries, surgeries, and medications. How long have you experienced cramps? Is there a family history of the problem? Do your cramps occur only after exercise, or do they happen while at rest? Does stretching relieve the cramps? Do you have muscle weakness or other symptoms? Your doctor may want to take a routine blood test to rule out diseases.

More electrolytes, more water, and 5-10g of Taurine powder daily.
