    First cycle inquiries

    Hi Guys,
Just looking for some opinions but first, heres my stats

    20
    5'5 152 lbs
    BF ~9%

I've been training for 4 years, about 3 consistently, and 2 impeccably,
I have weighed as light as 135lbs and have never had super amazing abs
Ive eaten extremely clean for about 9 months now

I have been slowly cutting since april where I weighed roughly 175lbs

Currently, I feel very very very small with my physique and I feel as if i have lost too much mass and its extremely frustrating as I am not happy with my abs yet either.

I'm looking to run a single oral compound first (i am set on this, im not taking an inject! I know its less stress on the liver, safer, bla bla bla, but for my first time its not happening).

I wanna cut the last bit of fat off my stomach while not losing any size, if anything I wanna GAIN size, as I feel so god damn skinny its ridiculous.Click image for larger version.

I thought maybe var would be a good option, 25mg/ed for 2-3 weeks to test dosage, and then 4weeks at 50mg, 3-4weeks of clomid or nolva.

But what do you guys think? I have a little bit of knowledge limited to creeping forums and consulting with a friend of mine who is a sports physician.
I appreciate all the feedback, thanks in advance.

first you look great for your age, and you are too young for steroids , need some cardio in the morning at empty stomach to help to cut more, and improve in your diet will help achieve your goals.

I'm a personal trainer and I am pursing a degree in kinesiology. I do enough cardio and my diet is 100% clean, I eat plain red kidney beans with tuna for one of my meals, my diet and conditioning is fine lol.

Info on the good stuff appreciated.

Hey bud im new to the forum as well, i can say one thing for sure you have a great physique for someone your age (no homo!!) You dont have that much fat to lose so maybe look at your diet. Is there room to cut out some unnecessary carbs? How much cardio do you do a week? You are far to young for steroids though man. Im 29 and am only just contemplating my first cycle now. Enjoy all that natural, youthfull testosterone while you can bro.

Being under 25 you are not going.to get to much info aas wise. Your to young and could damage your body, if you have your diet down then if your not getting the results you want then its your workout. I'm not talking down to you but being 20 with a clean diet and a good workout routine you should be able to reach your desired goals reasonably. Most people want their results faster and don't see the gains they are achieving. Just keep up the good work and research here awhile and you will pick up tips and information that will be helpful in the future

If you want to gain more mas increase your calories. You maybe eating very clean but if your not gaining then you need to in crease caloric intake. I didnt really start growing til 22 and if i had cycled at 20 that would have never happend. Trust me youll be glad you waited another couple years. I run a fitness buisness and the one thing alot of trainers lack is true understanding of diet and how to persoanlize it. Try playing with macro percentages and or carb cycling it works wonders

At your age gaining should be easy. Its hard (in my experience ) to gain a lot and not get a little fat on the belly. If its just a few pound u want to lose clen is good. I haven't seen any proof that its bad at your age other then opinion but I may be wrong..

Sorry for late reply to this thread, just finished moving apartments and have been busy organizing school and work.

Look you don't have to believe me that I have a spot on diet or that I know how to train, but truth is I do as much as I have learned with University level education and practical experience. Every 4 weeks a change my diet routine to incorporate different foods, but I eat in a disciplined manner sporting the same amount of calories as well as ratios of macro nutrients and a general outline of micronutrients on a day to day basis. Carb cylcling is not useful for someone like me as it screws up my day to day life. Carbs are the primary energy source and I cant drop below 50% or I will lose serious weight, even if supplementing the calories with fat or protein.(I have tried, even with consuming high saturated, low sat. fats with high poly and mono unsats, bla bla bla)

I train 6 days a week right now, with 2 days of cardio and soccer once a week. I have school 5 days a week and train 13-15 clients on a weekly basis. I just have enough time in my day to get 8-9 hours of sleep a night. I live and breathe fitness, I'm not saying I know it all because I'm a trainer and have a tiny bit of education, because if I did I wouldn't be here seeking advice. But the advice I am seeking is for aas not carb cycling or training routines or cardio, I pay my expensive tuition fees to answer those questions.

However I did do some thinking and I realize that ox alone will not help me achieve my goals, and I can probably keep getting gains naturally for a little while longer,

But I do have the var, and now I'm a little more willing to play pokey pokey, but I wanna make sure everything goes fine for when I do.
I was thinking of just Test enth with the var (8weeks for the test, last 4 weeks with var)

What kind of dosage do you think would suffice for 160lb and how many injects/week? I would like to get away on as little as possible obviously.

And I wanted to see if I experienced any side effects from these compounds .. before I ran my cycle(I know it sounds really dumb) Is it just a totally dumb idea to pop a capsule and see if anything horrible happens?

This spells it out for you as songdog said. This is quoted from our beloved Marcus.

AAS: Things to consider before starting a first cycle (Great Read)

This is a article I wrote for MD online, due to all the newbies around here i feel I should post it here.

Discipline and dedication are principles that you are going to have to master if you are serious about bodybuilding, being consistent with your diet and training will help you succeed in achieving your goals. Don't have tunnel vision in thinking you will only build muscle if your taking AAS, below are some of the main principles you need to consider before taking any AAS

    AGE
In humans your Endocrine system is not fully functional until an average age of 25yrs, although the main development is up to around 21yrs it still fluctuates a little bit up to its fully functional age. There is a risk of permanently damaging your HPTA if you take AAS to young and you could end up with symptoms of andropause and HRT for life. Symptoms could be Limp dick, low libido, depression, low energy, low endurance, erection problems and many more but.......are these the types of symptoms you want to have in your 20's?. Believe me its hard to cope with these in your 40's yet alone in your prime of your life.

Around this age your Testosterone levels are the highest they going to be in your life naturally, so use what you have and don't take the risk of damage, I am passionate about this because ive seen it many times with young kids wanting to looking like their heroes and they think the answer is in an injection /tablet.

Taking AAS to young can also cause problems with development, one other main problem is premature sealing of your epiphyeal bone and the consequences mean that you wont grow as big as your genetics could allow you to, there is a test which can be done to see if your growth plates have sealed yet but the average age is around 21yrs old.

    TRAINING
You need a few years of hard training under your belt before even considering taking any kind of anabolic support, people who jump on a cycle to soon without having some quality years under their belt usually results in injuries, it takes time to develop your connective tissue, tendons and nervous system to heavy overload training. Slowly getting your own system use to these kinds of extreme's will only help in muscle growth later on when you do decide to start taking AAS.

Build a solid foundation for muscle tissue to grow and maintaining and development will be far greater than without it. Many younger guys will start cycling before they have reached their genetic potential which is crazy when a good solid diet and training program will be far beneficial and productive to muscle building.

Workouts should be mainly focused on basic movements with a priority of over loading the muscle each and ever time you train, increasing your strength and ability to lift in proper form will help with building the foundation for future development

    DIET
A lot of younger bodybuilders don't know how to eat. Researching and understanding how your own body responds will help you get to your natural limit, the right food at the right time and a full understanding of proteins, carbs, and fats will only help you succeed in achieving your natural goals. Keeping a diet diary will also help you understand the importance of macro, nutrients, calories and should help you see in which areas you could be going wrong in adding lean muscle tissue.

No matter how much anabolic support you have it will be worthless without proper nutrition , food will help build and maintain your valued muscle weather its natural, cycling or in PCT . Adjusting your food intake and consuming muscle building foods coupled with a solid training program will help you achieve your natural limit and foundation before you start AAS use.

This area is a huge problem with the younger guys and I can't express enough how important diet /food is when first starting out, post and pre training nutrition are very important and understanding how to load and feed the body will help push growth and create a very natural anabolic environment.
