    Cycle Review

    Hi Everyone,

Been a long time since I've been around, maybe 5 years or so. In that time, I have come back to read and follow up on specific compounds I was interested in learning more about. I'm looking to put together a cycle and wanted to get some input. I ran my first cycle about 5 years ago w/ decent results and no sides and very little (read no) PCT. Stupid, I know.

    Weeks 1 - 10 : Test E, 400mg / wk
    Weeks 6 - 11 : Winny, 50mg / ed
    Weeks 8 - 14 : HCG , 250mg / 2x wk ; Nolvadex , 20mg / ed
    Week 12 : Clomid, 100mg /ed
    Weeks 13 - 14 : Clomid, 50mg / ed
    Weeks 1 - 14 : Arimidex , .5mg / ed

So, am I just getting paranoid in my old age and going overboard on pct? I know this isn't a very heavy cycle and I'm not looking for huge gains. I actually don't want to gain a lot of weight as I am in a weight specific sport. I'm starting to feel my mortality and am looking for recovery more than anything so I can keep training. I would trade the winny for var if I could.

    Current Stats:
    H: 5'8
    W: 192
    BF: 12.5%
    A: 32

    Appreciate any insight, criticism.

    Thx,

    - LL

Stop using hcg before your pct starts. It can be suppressive and will challenge recovery during pct.

You might want to consider clomid at 100/50/50/50 for that cycle. Three weeks of clomid is borderline insufficient.

Nolvadex bumped to 40 throughout week 12 then 20/20/20.

If you are referring to hcg , the answer is no. Use HCG on cycle to maintain testicular size. The testes are "jump started" by the nolvadex & clomid treatment afterwards.

Seeing that HCG is somewhat suppressive you would be better off not using it during a time (pct) that is dedicated to re-starting your natural system.

That works well for many. Try it, listen to your body. If possible get bloodwork before and after cycle to truly know how the pct functioned for you.

May as well give it a shot, shouldn't cost any more. I'm with you on getting blood work done. I still have a month or so before I start... i'm recovering from a shoulder injury.

The before blood work is a good one to not avoid because it will establish a baseline for you to guage recovery
