An Article on Drugs in The Mail.

Although this link isn't steroids related. It gives good insight on how police might "bust" people buying steroids in the mail.

    http://fayobserver.com/articles/2011...21382?sac=Home

The part that caught my attention was:

Assistant District Attorney Warren McSweeney said the raid came after employees at a Fayetteville FedEx distribution center called police about a suspicious package. The package was addressed to Hardy from a fan in Florida. It contained a Maxwell House coffee can filled with 262 prescription hydrocodone pain killers.

Police resealed the package and had the pills delivered to Hardy at his home. When he accepted the package, Moore County sheriff's deputies raided the house and found other drugs, as well.

Has anyone heard of similar stuff happening with gear in the mail? I was under the impression that the police needed a warrant.

they need a warrant to open something sent through the postal service.
When you use fedex or ups you dont have the same protections

I heard of a guy that had police and a postal inspector visiting but he had it sent to a fake name, and denied denied denied.

This is an exception to the rule..most of the time when something of this nature takes place, this is already a person of interest to the police/feds.
Other than that it is simply a matter bad luck or stupid packaging.

    262 prescription hydrocodone pain killers

In a freaking Maxwell House coffee can

That right there was fail from the word go!

    When accepting any package

    - Do not open for a few days and write "RTS" on the outside of the package

If they have a warrant and are in wait usually the warrant won't let them act any later than a few day later of you receiving a package
Opening the package confirms in the eyes of the law that your are the correct recipient
So by leaving the package a few days you will have better leverage with the courts
Writing RTS is short for return to sender with can be another + for you if you do get nailed

They could also have the package wired instead and be in wait
sometimes they might use your original mail man so you don't think anything suspicious is up
And you open thinking noting is unusual

To many things to go into but if there goanna nail you there goanna nail you

    Pills are easy to spot
I avoid shipping pills at all costs

no. you need photo id to get a box so they know who owns it.

when you ship domestic its safe to use usps then fedex or ups.
