Does Nolvadex affect your gains?

Guys, I am thinking off adding Nolvadex now to the end of my cycle because I am getting some slight fat/water retention in my nipple region. Will the addition of Nolvadex affect my gains/results? Thanks!

I've heard it does slightly effect gains... can't remember exactly why tho.

Estrogen is needed for growth also. It will slow the gains a little, mainly why people think it inhibits gains is because they don't blow up with water. IMO.

As most descriptions say. the reason be hide nolvadex effecting gains comes from the drug only being a estrogen blocker... meaning your body will being a large build up of estrogens.... with weak androgens basically all of your anabolics like deca, eq will have a lesser effect. You want an anti-aromo like proviron or liquidex for weak androgenic androgens.
Use the estrogen blockers along with the anit-aromo's during heavy androgenic cycles like all your test's, dipropiontes, and metho's like anadrol and d-bol.
Another thing to remember is always run your clomid or HCG after the cycle utilizing estrogen blockers... with such a build up you could have a post cycle gyno reaction and a little water retention along with one hell of a mood swing...
