    Damaged my chest?? dont train?

Im on week 11 of my cycle, and on chest day, warmed up as usual on the flat bar bench, then put on the most ive ever benched, and did 8 reps of 110kg..

I bought the bar down all the way, and pushed up to the top and held it there for 1 sec, but after this first set i couldn't carry on!!

Its really hurting, on both sides, on my upper chest where my chest meets my shoulders.

It been hurting for 2 days now.

whats the best thing to do to avoid it, or make the pain go away??

should i not train it next week? just dont want to ruin my cycle but then again dont want to damage myself even more..

I see more people injured on flat bench than any other exercise albeit the injury is usually to the sholder area. I know many people, myself included that will never touch the flat bench a practice you might want to adopt for the future. Take some time to heal, dec is right missing a week or 2 is fine so long as you're training other areas.

Rest it until it heal 100%. Either work around it or just take a full break from training.
