    Shortness of breath on cycle?

    Stats 32
    192lbs
    6ft
    4th cycle

Hey guys little worried hopefully someone has some anwsers or solutions.
Im currently starting my 3rd week of Test prop 100 eod and var 50 mg a day.

I have been having shortness of breath all day with dry coughing where it is sometimes tough to speak because i run out of breath..Is it due to high blood pressure or maybe something else..I also have been taking N.O. for pre workout but dont think it is the cause of it..Anybody have the same problem? I have noticed im pretty sensitive to the Test prop leaving me in pain for up to 5 days..

i had a similar thing on the same dose of prop, i found it was due to high blood pressure for me. i also got really bad night sweats. i was also the same with the pain. try and see how you go for a few days but imo you should go to a gp and get everything tested cos you dont really want to be fvcking around with an extremely high bp, although at your age your still young so it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Many people experience a dry cough while on test and tren , nothing serious. As for the shortness of breathe, could be an anxiety attack triggered by the test. Could be something more serious. I would definately go to the doctor on this one.

OP, how are your gains? as you gain increased mass and/or increase the metabolic rate of your muscles, you need to supply additional oxygen to your tissues. usually the body can compensate for this unless you are gaining too much muscle.

it could also be due to increased cardiac stress on the heart. check your BP levels because people have been known to be hypertensive on cycle. it might be vasoconstriction, increased sodium intake, or water retention. are you taking at least 5g of EPA/DHA fish oil a day? how about keeping sodium intake low?

if it is either of these two things, then you would feel a strong hunger for air. do you get out of breath after climbing a short set of stairs?

how much caffeine is in N.O.? try dropping it because caffeine will only increase your BP.

As others have suggested you need to check your BP. With this being your 4th cycle if you have not given your body time to fully recover its normal blood chemistry between cycles you may be pumping the equivalent of 90w gear oil.

Hopefully not as it often happens at fairly normal blood pressures as well, I have found that proper hydration plays a big role in the amount of symptoms.

Definitly get blood pressure checked, yes its uncommon for it to be high at your age but i know guys thats a lot younger than you and have to take high BP meds and they are completely healthy otherwise, tho thats clearly not common. About 80% of high bp is idiopathic so it can happen to anyone the other 20% is usually do to some sort of serious condition thats not common such as pheochromocytoma. High blood pressure can cause hypertrophy of your heart and a ton of other medical problems. Normal BP is between 110/70-120/80, if blood pressure is over 140/100ish watch it and make sure it doesnt go much higher. 160/120ish and up is getting pretty high and can cause problems. I bought a quality bp moniter just to make sure there isnt any problems. Now it could have easily been a panic attack or something mental as the brain can play tricks on you if you work your self up such as tachycardia and arrhythmia which can cause shortness of breath. So just watch it and you should be fine, good luck brother!

Thanks for the replys...Im pretty sure its not in my head seeing as how its been over a week.. Ive spaced out my cycles over the last three years and have only put on about 4 to 5 lbs in current cycle
so far so not sure its the mass that would be causing this problem and see my self as a pretty lean and healthy indivdual. Im going to get my BP checked today and go from there. I also forgot to mention that i have been on chinese HGH for the past 2 months but am doubtful it is legit but didn't mention because i didn't see these sides till i added my cycle 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunitly the BP monitors there are not always the most accurate. Now dont get me wrong they are definitly better than nothing but i have people tell me their blood pressure (from those machines) and when i take it it is usually lower. Again it depends on the machine and if its calibrated properly or at all. What you bought is good for overall health, heart, liver, joints etc... but may or may not affect blood pressure. It depends on your current health condition not to mention as i'm sure you already know being on cycle can raise blood pressure as well. There are of course other factors that play a role such as health (which you stated was good earlier), as well as predisposition factors such as race, family history, and stress just to name a few. I'd recommend getting a decent blood pressure monitor, being that they arent too expensive and you seem to possibly have HP starting. 146/79 is stage 1 hypertension. Nothing to go crazy over but some doctors i know do prefer to put patients on blood thinner meds such as hydrochlorothiazide which helps eliminate some of the water in the blood circulation and others dont they just monitor it. Now when your working out of course your blood pressure is going to be much higher and that may very well have caused the shortness of breath. Now all of this is possibilities, best advice would be to monitor you pressure regularily while reducing salt intake and if it continues to cause problems consult a physician.

Ive been like that before but it was non AAS related. You may just have a cold, be sick, flu or allergies. Yes stop and see if the symptoms go away.

In order to be safe, then yes it probably would be better to end the cycle but only you can tell what your bodies saying. A simple infection could be the culprit as certain types of bacteria and viruses can mess with your normal bodily functions or it could also be high blood pressure regulated or a whole host of other possibliities. But again that is something that a physician would need to check. If you do not wish to see a physician, which if this is that bad i dont recommend, then stop the cycle, PCT, and moniter BP if after a little time you start to feel better then your probably fine, but i wouldnt start up another cycle for a little while and the whole time monitor your pressures. If you get some of the common cold symptoms, fever, sore throat, headache, nausea, malaise, then it was probably bacterial/viral related. Theres way too many factors to tell you whats wrong for sure especially in a forum, only possible causes.
