    Natural Test?

I dont know where I should post this question so I'll post it here. My friend and I have been working out for about a year now. He started taking some supplements about 8 months ago from a health store and I swear he started getting signs of gyno. He has been lifting "heavy" lately for him and he is starting to get them again. I know he is not on any AAS, so my question is it possible to have too much natural Test? He is 32 years old and 165lbs.

I told him to check on some E2 blockers or read on on it from this site after the supplements he took last time. I was thinking that since he started lifting heavy that his body is reacting by producing more test. IDK

it depends on what supplements he took. They could have caused it

he wouldnt get natural gyno at 32 unless it was just from fat tissue. If he was taking a ph or something thats prb what caused it

Sometimes working out can make a case of gyno more obvious. Building up the pecs. will cause gyno to push further out and make it more obvious.

That being said I would be interested in know what supplements he was using.

^^actually the oppsite is true, the muscle would build around the gyno tissue not push it outward.

PH's can do this easily, but as for non-hormone modulating supplements doubtful that they caused it.

That makes 0 sense. Gyno is glandular tissue that sits on top of the muscle structure. Are you suggesting that a person pecs know there in gyno, so they take on a donut shape to accommodate the gyno tissue?

Logic would say a bigger chest would stretch the skin and spread the 'gyno' tissue aswell. Thus making it appear to be less when infact all that has happened is the chest area increased in size.

Got to agree here. Leaning out will shrink the gyno a bit, but an increase in pec size will never hide gyno.

Depends on what "supplements" he took. FWIW, a ton of supplement shops sell prohormones as "100% safe steroid alternatives"

Does he smoke a lot of weed? That could cause it along with prohormones.

This is pretty much it. When the pec enlarges, the nipple starts to turn to the bottom part of the lateral edge. When gyno is involved (granted if its bad enough it cant be hidden) it will help shape the pec at the bottom and would conform to the edge of the muscle tissue. It would be much less visible then and the only way to really see any hint of gyno is a purely relaxed pec muscle that is passively contracted (the thinker-man pose, where you lean forward and have your arm upwards, a good example is in the Superbass video the white guy leaning forward has gyno but its very minimal and cant really see it)

That is a very wordy theory that will not apply to 99% of gyno cases. Increase pec size = more pronounced gyno. Your pecs will not magically grow around your gyno ( like you stated previously); gyno will not move to a less visible part of your chest after getting big. Gynecomastia.org has thousands of individuals with all sorts of gyno; it also has a few extremely experienced surgeons. They all agree that while surgery is the only option for perminant gyno, losing weight can help. And build up your pecs WILL make your glandular gyno more pronounced.

Really... my gyno can sense that Im lifting weights and getting in shape. In return he packs his bags and moves to a less noticeable spot on my chest!

I was in the same position a few months back... then i read about someone getting insurance to cover it. I sorta made a hobby out of getting it covered. Never really expecting it to actually work. A month later my insurance company called and said they would cover the whole thing... I was shocked.

There are MANY things out there that can cause gyno...prescription meds..OTC products...herbs...etc...
Its not only AAS so anything is possible. He should have some lab work done to see whats causing the
    problem and then address it.

He said he takes BCAA's, creatine and Whey protein shakes. He couldn't remember what he took from that "health" store but the guy told him it would be banned soon. I guess take that statement with a grain of salt. (sales pitch)

Just over the last 2 weeks or so he has stated that his nipples are itchy again and he thought he felt bumps under them. I told him he needs BW, but he doesnt know if his insurance will cover it.

    ...and he doesnt smoke pot,lol.

Thank you for all your replies.

just order some tamox from ar-r and do 40 mgs a day for a week or 2 then drop to 20 mg until it goes away or 2 more weeks what ever comes first. lets treat this like he,s having a flare up from the ph which was probably the problem.
