A-dex during a cycle...?
I have been hearing some different opinions about the use of Arimidex during a cycle: some say dont use it unless signs of sides kick in, others say to use it for a dryer cut look and there will be less estrogen in your system.
Am I missunderstanding everyone, or is it not so black and white?

it does help prevent bloat
I personally use adex in my cycle (if you can get your hands on it a good price - i can) just to prevent bitch tits ever happening - if your gyno prone its wise to use it throughout.
Some say it hinders your gains - but thats just mainly water retention anyway
There is no wrong or right answer
Some do, some dont. others just have nolva on hand if they feel gyno coming along.
You dont want to use too much, as it does convert estrogen to test, and you still need some estorgen in your system to make test.
.5 eod should be fine to useLast edited by denzel; 10-21-2011 at 03:55 AM.

I'd personally wait for sides to kick in before I use it..However, I know of a lot of guys who use it just to use it..To each their own.

my motto is if you dont need it dont use it.
We push the TEST ONLY for first cycle so you know where the sides come from but then recommend all these ancillaries that can give all sorts of sides. Keep it simpleLast edited by chuckt12345; 10-21-2011 at 08:21 AM.

i am 2 weeks in to my test-e cycle. I have adex but have was going to wait to use it. right before bed last night i noticed my nipples felt very sensitive even burning now and then. i was hoping it was in my head but it wasnt. when i woke up today they still burned ! i started the adex this morning....its the dosage im confused about. .25 ed, .5 eod ? i took .5 today but i may taper off to a smaller dose. is there a special way to take it or just swallow it ? need to hold it under the tongue for a while or what ? liquidex=adex right?

After the sides have stopped I would keep using it at a low enough but effective dose. You can just swallow it. No need to hold it under the tongue.

so should i just keep going at .5 eod until sides have stopped then bump it down to .25 eod for duration of cycle or should i start .25 ed until sides have stopped then .25 eod ? i was really hoping i would be able to avoid all this but not even close....just 2 weeks in ! also, when you do experience these sides and start the ai, how long should i expect it to take to reverse this side ? its not bad yet so hopefully not long
sorry for hijacking the ops thread but i think we are both asking for the same info pretty much

For those that experience these type of sides it really depends on the person. It could be 2 weeks it could be 8 weeks, there is no set rule. When I ran adex I did .25 ed for 5 days and then .25 eod after that. I think I bottomed out my e2 though so be careful. There are allot of really good gyno threads on here you could read.

If you are going for a hard, dry look then use it. Otherwise use it if needed.
