    Want to do my first cycle............suggestions?

    I am 42 years old, 190 lbs, 5'7, not sure on BF %. Experienced lifter. Thinking of doing first cycle and what ive read everybody suggests some form of TEST?? I have a friend that is doing this:

    "22 amps test, 22 amps deca ...shoot 1 amp each together every 3rd day...if you want to run winny (which I highly recommend...I love it) you'll need 10 boxes containing 3amps per box and you run that in the last 2 weeks of you test cycle and for two weeks after your test is gone! 3 weeks after your last test shot you will start the clomid and nolvadex and run that for approx. 2-3 weeks"

    Is this something that would be good for my first cycle? Or is this too much? My goals are to put on some good lean muscle without getting too big(i dont want to look like a squaty body). Will doing Cardio be counterproductive? What are the best worout principles to follow while on a cycle??

    If you read the education threads you will get a better understanding of how to design a first cycle. Normally you want to be looking at 400-500mgs of test per week for 10-12 weeks, stick with one compound for your first cycle, its better to see how you respond to one compound. You will need an AI for during the cycle and also some HCG . Make sure you alos have a solid PCT.

    Cardio during the cycle is a good thing but nothing to intense,
    Workouts need to be intense and productive,
    diet also needs to be inline with your goals,

    well your first cycle should not be that complex...first you should run a test only cycle consisting of 400/500 mgs a week for 10-12 weeks..by running only 1 compound you can get a better understanding of how your body will react to it and you will can still make great gains running just test.. the cycle above is way to much for a first cycle

    You should have as a general rule 15% max BF

    your pct should be extended out for a minimum of 4 weeks

    no problem with doing cardio while on cycle

    On top of the advice given by these gentlemen, I'd also like to point out a couple of things, more from the common sense department.
    Blokes our age (actually, I'm a wee bit older) need to be a little bit more careful to start. Go to your doc and ask for a full blood panel, including free and total test. This is your baseline. It should also tell you the condition of your liver, your cholestoral, and a variety of other things. And do the deed and get your prostate checked. One of the issues of cycling at our age, is that it can shorten the time interval before you are testosterone deficient, and therefore in need of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). In fact, your baseline may already indicate a need for TRT.
    Something else to think about as an old bull. While cycling, your muscular strength will increase faster than your ligaments/tendons ability to keep up. This could put you in a potential risk of injury. So in the beginning, don't go balls out. Take it easy at first, and let your body catch up. I got hammered with an injury june before last, and it took me down several months. There is no growth if injured.... better to go slow right at first.
