Hiding your steroid use.
Hey - I thought I would open up a thread about the subject of keeping your steroid use private. I am a 26yr who lives alone and see my family 2-3 times a month. The problem is that when I was younger I did 2 steroid cycles; back then my parents found my gear in a crawl space. They were very upset and quickly blamed all my bad behavior on steroid use, even tho I was basically a misfit from toddler onward.
Over the years ive matured in all areas of my life and have a very positive relationship with my parents. Its important for me to hide my use as much as possible.
I know the obvious ones like wearing larger clothing to cover up body size/composition, also go heavy on anti E's to cover side effects, have put extra effort into bulking precycle even putting on more fat than I would like...
Any other ideas?

Besides the obvious of not telling people your on, there aren't many ways of hiding it other than what you mentioned. And even if you wear larger clothes you'll look much bigger if your shoulders and traps grow, i tried that but it was even more obvious because my shoulders were making my sweater stretch out wider and higher lol

I dont hide it, unless its to a girl that am trying to bed.
Its legal to use and posses steroids where I am, so LEA can suck my f*cking dick.

Let people think what they want. Tell them you eat 20 pounds of chicken a week, take creatine and lift heavy. They will think you are using even if you deny it. Just be yourself.
Maybe I don't see the problem because I'm not that big, but people comment on my size increase (started TRT in December) all the time and I just say "thanks." If they joked about steroids I would just say no, and I am certainly not going to split hairs about TRT vs. AAS.

My best quotes ever was in high school after I started really eating and getting into weightlifting. A guy sat down at my table and said " Dude wtf are you on and I snapped back : Im on the FKIN bench 3 hours a day what are you on?

Only thing you can really do is not tell anyone and try not to limp around the gym... Thats a dead giveaway when i see people limping.

If you're a grown man there's no reason to lie to your family. First, your family should recognize that you make your own decisions in life. Secondly, not many parents want to be lied to.
Be a man. And if asked by family, be truthful! Unless of course you're embarrassed and afraid of a little verbal abusing. Grow up and don't lie to your family. In the end, they are all you have.
stpete..

My father and I have been fighting about aas for along, long time. It's a never ending battle. I just never talk about lifting or anything bodybuilding related in front of him. He himself has just turned 50, and still lifting like an animal. Old man loves his protein though

If people ask me about my size and stuff I just say I have been training hard and taking supplements. It is a supplement. If anyone ask flat out if I am taking steroids . Well more than likely I will tell them since they want to know so bad. Of course I wouldn't tell someone at work or anything like that. It is easy to divert the question elsewhere in those cases.

If they know you are committed to lifting and the gym why not let them attribute your physique to hard work and discipline? I don't see why not? There are plenty of guys that achieve great results without the use of aas.

if you make a big deal out of it then your asking for trouble, just be cool and act like nothing has changed, say you just take lifting serious or something. and anyway its not like your going to triple in size all of a sudden.

Agreed.... If you can hide it... Your not doing something right? Because most people can tell if someones gaining a great deal of size in little to no time... Most people are not idiots... Just tell your parents!!! My mom wanted to smack me when i told a few years back.. But hell its my body. My gf telling people "he eats a lot" only lasts so long.
Me and my two gym partners are known as "The needle heads" in my gym. From what a fellow gym member told me... And the funny thing is i am the only one that cycles... My one buddy just has huge ass arms... And my other buddy is a twig... It makes no sense to me... People are going to think what they want to think.Last edited by c-Z; 10-29-2011 at 01:34 PM.

I used to think that the wife is the only one you really can be honest with on stuff like this. But thinking about it, I was wrong. You get in to a big enough fight with the wife and she knows you juice, what's to stop her from phoning the pigs and telling them where your stash is?
