I have a buddy that went to the doctor because he was tired all the time so they checked his test and it was in the high 100's so I told him he is practically a girl...anyways. they started him on TRT of test cyp but they r only giving him 100mg once a month. With a half life about 7 or 8 days what good is that going to him?

That is too low. Even if he divides that up to 100mg every other week that is still real low. A more common dose is 200mg 2x monthly.

theres no way that is prescribed dosage.thats way to low .even at 200mg

That is low. But maybe that dr starts low and will work thier way up with bloodwork.
It probably wont help to much with that dose. But considering he was 100 naturally it isnt going to hurt him either

Most will go 200mg every 2 weeks. It's best to split that to 100mg/week, but some docs are anal about it. Anything lower than that is too low for many men.

I got a trt prescription and get 200mg every 2 weeks. I actually went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription the other day and they were out of the 1ml vials so they just gave me last 10ml vial they had! sweeeet. I guess they had a recall from Sandoz for the 1ml vials.

Possible that they're trying the lower dose to see how his symptoms do. If the lower dose is effective in ridding him of his symptoms, than in a way it would be the correct dose for him. Or the dr may not be as familiar with trt and dosing.
