Cycle vs TRT for first time.
I went with a TRT clinic I was recommended by a friend. I got my blood checked and seen by the doctor and now I've got a prescription for HRT/TRT. He didn't give me an actual prescription in my hand though and I have to order my stuff through them. They seem sort of flexible in what I can get from them though and it's not the 100mg/week I see TRT people getting scripts for. The package I got includes 2 10mL vials of Testosterone Cypionate 2000 mg (not 100% sure it's cyp, I haven't received it yet but I think that's what he told me) 20 tabs of tamoxifen and HCG and syringes and stuff. He was explaining to me that I'll take 300 mg IM of test a week, once a week, and I'll take the tamox oral twice a week and the HCG twice a week, sub-q. There are supposed to be more specific instructions coming in the package that will arrive to my house some time next week. I'm supposed to take this for 20 weeks straight he said. I only purchased 10 weeks worth and I'm supposed to reorder before the 10 weeks are up. He was also offering me nandrolone but to save money I went without it and maybe add it on for the following weeks.
I've been reading on here for a few weeks and this is a bit different than what I see everyone doing even on the TRT forum. My question to you guys is:
Would it be better if I took 400 mg of test for 8 or 10 weeks and save the tamox and HCG for PCT? Or maybe stick with 300 and do PCT? Or should I just go with what they are telling me to do?

*please don't PM me about who my clinic is, I'm not telling.Last edited by Doctapeppa; 10-28-2011 at 01:54 PM.

300 mgs of test a week is alot for TRT replacement. Are you just wanting to get prescriptions to do a cycle and then a PCT or are you going to do TRT?

I think I want to cycle because I'm not exactly sure what benefits I would get by going long term TRT. I'm not testosterone deficient.

You are dealing with a clinic that cares about sales, not your health. Do you even have low Test? Did they do blood work and wait for it to come in before having you buy way too much gear and telling you to take too much every week?
This is the kind of "clinic" that I always hope gets shut down.
If you are here to get people interested in your clinic, you will be disappointed to know that your messaging won't work for a while.

Lol, it's not my clinic and I'm glad they are selling to me because I don't have any other way of buying. They sent me to have labs at Quest and I did them. I didn't see the results but they said my testosterone level is "low normal". I was also seen by their doctor who they referred me to and he seemed legit and he did a thorough physical on me and told me I could benefit from testosterone. Not sure why you would want this kind of place shut down. I live in Florida and I've been told there is some sort of loophole here that these clinics can get away with this. Good for me.
Help with my question? Cycle or TRT?
I've been working out hard for 3 years. I am an ex fatty who lost 140 lbs and have kept it off for more than 3 years. My diet is perfect and I put my time in the gym with very little results. I know AS can help me. Just asking if It would be better to do a cycle or just stay on TRT for a while.
Edit: I had made a starter thread on another, similar forum, I thought it was this one. I'll copy it from there and post it here somewhere.Last edited by Doctapeppa; 10-28-2011 at 02:32 PM.

Yup, good for you...seriously. Bad for me.
It isn't really a loophole, it is bending (breaking?) the law, and they close down clinics like that all the time. I realize clinics like this allow some of us that really have low Test (not BS "low normal that could benefit from therapy") to get easy access to Test, but in prescribing you an excessive amount of drugs they are increasing the odds that there will be eventual blowback against this industry, and it will hurt guys that actually need it. Same with the pain clinics that know full well that they are overprescribing to people with pill addictions.
You don't really seem to need TRT, so I don't know why you would do it. I guess you should wait until you get your second package and do a cycle because you should always have all your gear in had before you start...but you probably don't want to wait 10 weeks, right?
If your diet is perfect you would not be able to say you have had no results in the gym. I generally advise anyone that makes statements like that to not do AAS.

Sounds like a clinic that not on the up and up,they shouldnt have offered Decca for low test.300mg a week is more of a cycle than replacment for low test. Also a couple of nolvadex a week isnt going to do much of anything. I would just do a cycle and get some more Nolvadex for pct. 35 is too young to be on test replacement if you dont have reason to be on it.

Definitely read up beginner cycles and PCT. You will want to make sure your diet is really set up right as the drugs aren't magic. If you aren't growing now, you will not maximize your gains on AAS if you don't change your diet.
Good luck. My opinion of shady clinics has nothing to do with you personally.

Thanks! I've read many different opinions on diets while on cycle. High carb, low carb, 1 g/lb prot, 1.5 and even 2 g/lb protein. I'm very good at keeping track of my calories and macros and I don't have any problems getting any amount of calories in with whole, clean foods. I was planning on being somewhere between 200-300 grams protein, higher on lifting days and having carbs only post workout and the rest fats. I was going to try 500 cals over maintenance but been reading and see people go way over this on here. Not starting cycle for another 2-3 weeks.

Make sure you don't start until you have your PCT mapped out and in hand. If you need to stop your cycle prematurely (injury, sickness, family emergency, etc.) you will be able to stop and do proper PCT at any time. You never know what might happen.

These clinics are basically the same as the ones selling Oxycodone under the guise of pain management. They are exploiting the medical community and really need to be shut down as quickly as possible. However in a lot of ways the HRT/TRT clinics like this are far worse than those posing as pain management clinics.
What I mean is it would be bad enough if all they were like the oxy clinics whose clientelle know exactly what the hell they are doing when they walk in the door. However in the case of the HRT/TRT clinics they are not only selling cycles to seasoned bodybuilders who were seeking a legal way to obtain Test, Deca , AIs, HCG etc. but the sad truth is that many many innocent 30-40 yr olds with virtually no knowlege of steroids and their dangers are getting sucked into the mix and think they are recieving legit TRT.
