    Fluid retention

    I'm a out 8% BF and 75kg ripped .

I'm a pro fighter and have to weigh in every Sunday morning. So when I check to see how I'm going on a saturday morning weigh in some times I'm good and where I need to be weight wise!
Then on a Sunday I'm a 1 kg heavier and that's with me carb depleting on a sat also!
I know my body and drink prob to much water! 8+ liters a day !
So I'm putting the blame on my my extra weight weigh in on fluid retention !
I want to keep my bf real low diet is super clean!!

What else would u recommend for me to stop fluid retention ????
feed back would be greatly appreciated & thank you .
    Riggar

would you not go up a weight class, instead of torturing yourself to stay that ripped?

i ask because i used to compete plifting at 75kg class and was 9-10% and increasingly struggling to make weigh ins after 10yrs in that class, i just decided 'fvck it' after 6mths of struggling, also quit smoking at that time and ended up at mid to high 90kg class within 6mths

Keep your water intake up as you have been. Stay within 2-3kgs of fight weight. If you need to drop the water for a weigh in you can drop 2-3kgs in about 12-16 hrs if done properly. I dont understand the reasoning for weekly weigh ins? Usually a weigh in is done once before a fight, then as soon as its over, consume electrolytes and water before the fight. It is dangerous to be water depleted, and really not good for a fighter. I would not recommend carb depletion for a fighter either, thats just stupid! Either move up a weight class if you can't maintain your weight within 2kgs or look for a different sport.

I can maintain my weight class sometimes emotionally and
    Physically it's harder than others

We prep pre fight as close to fight to weigh in as possible. We also try the stay with in 2 kg of weight class a month in.
Yday spent some time w our dietition was advised to decrease h2o intake 12 hours b4 sauna also. Natural lax to clear bowl. Also sauna and 10 hours sleep b4 weigh in

I'm being totally serious when I suggest going for a colonic irrigation. This can clear up to 4lbs of sh*t in some people.

    G that's quite a story dec !
I could imagin at such a low weight one dose struggle with strength in many
    Ways!
When I'm at 5 % I change my work outs and tweak diet to regain some strength both physically and mentally!

Guitario been down that road! With my diet 100% raw and clean I was advised that there would be absolutely no benefit for me as my diet keeps my inturnals super totally clean . I only eat unprocessed food. Ie raw green veg very high fibrous vegetables the only 2 things I cook r chick breat and sweet potato.
    Thx for ur input though!
