dr. pepper recent studies show that vitamin c does nothing for cold or flu even in extremely high doses.

Vitimin C can reduce the severity of cold symptoms, acting as a natural antihistamine. By giving the immune system one of the important nutrients it needs, extra vitamin C can often shorten the duration of the cold as well. I have taken it everyday for the past two years and never been sick so far, speaking from personal experience not any studies...

I was my biggest enemy when i was competing in sports through my teens, i would train even though i was sick. I remember once training when i had food poisoning. :/

My advice would be to keep hydrated and rest as much as possible. Eat as well as you can, if its certain food that you crave then eat them. I would not train unless i was 70% fit, training when sick can cause injury and prolond the sickness (does to me anyway). PLUS people in the gym dont want your germs, i get pissed when people are coughing and sneezing all over the show.

    Hope you feel better
