Help w/ deca/test e. cycle & workout routine, my charts/strategies
Not sure what section to post in, figured here as I'm thinking
Looking to start my first cylcle of deca /test enth (document attached).
I'm 26, 5'10", currently 185lb. BF% not sure.
I've been working out for about 16months now, with a few months down from a nasal surgery I had.
I feel I have plateaued about 8months ago.
My chest is a decent size, my arms are smaller than I'd like. Especially my triceps, any ideas to grow?
(The routine document attached is what I have been doing since I started).
My goal is to be around 200lb and cut.
Looking to do a deca/test enth cycle (8wk, 2off).
If you guys get a chance, can you take a look at my attached documents, my schedule for meals (incomplete), vitamins, workout, and cycle.
Questions in order of concern:
1. PCT anabolic sugg.
2. Workout plan while on re and de load.
3. Diet can stay the same for Cardio and Off days? Any change while on PCT?
4. 3000cal is my rec to maintain, 3500cal is so I can hopefully gain 1lb/wk, seem right?
5. Can i switch from GNC's whey (Amplified Wheyabolic Extreme 60) to a basic (cheaper) whey?
6. Is it okay to take jack3d while on cycle?
7. Is there anything I can take besides anabolics to get similar gains?

Nice meeting everyone btw! This forum has been great not just for anabolic research but also for nutrition and diet. Lots of great info and great people.

No flame intended but you do not have the body of a 26yr male who has plateaued. I find it hard to believe that the latest pic is you at 5 10 185. You look about 165 and i think i'm being generous. IMHO you need to add significant size in order to have a good spring board for a steroid cycle. It would also reflect that you have a good handle on what your nutritional needs will be as you grow.

Holy cow; I just read your work out doc. You're not moving nearly enough weight to put on mass. Your only training 3x a week and doing the same exact movements. No good.

None taken, I AM 185 although I know I don't look it. Gym scale and home scale verified. The first pic I was around 165, second pic 185.
That's the routine I have been using since I started, which I know I need to change. What would you suggest?
Thanks.

Heavy compound movements: Dead lifts, squats, bench.... Place all your big compound movements on your chart and then work around them. You should be training so hard that you cannot do the same movement 2 days later.

forget the cycle. Get in the training section and get a new work out. I cant imagine you are really pushing yourself.
Honestly my wife does the same weight as you do for squats and she does them on top of a bosu ball

Gotchya. I think my body has adjusted to what I am doing. Besides for DL sqats and bench, what are the 'big compound' movements?
I'll check it out. I do push myself, I go off that chart as a guide and go to my max.
Your wife must be a gem! I would love to find a girl that would work out with me, most are way too lazy!
I do do my sqats cage free and practice form (don't lean forward at all), which makes it 5x harder. I have never tried the ball but I'll have to soon.
Thanks guys for your help. I think I need to change up my routine and do more research there first. I'm thinking I don't need anabolics yet. Although I would love a test boost just for my lifestyle! I mountain bike a lot on off days (not as much now in the winter) and love a lot of outdoor activities.

Thanks I appricaite it man. I'm happy so far.. Just want to go further.
I go off the freeform of a sqaut like I said keeping straight. It's very easy to lean forward making it easier or use the cage to lean against. Try it and you'll see

i dont use a smith to squat. I dont lean against anything. at 185 you should be able to squat more then that.

That is my new schedule, and what I'm actually capable of. Thanks for pointing out my amout of weight sucked because I do believe it was way too little to make any gains!
Anyone interested in using that chart feel free.Last edited by cfdp; 11-17-2011 at 11:00 AM.
