    Red skin on cycle

I started a test e 500mg/week, deca 600mg/week cycle 4 1/2 weeks ago. Once I started cycling I noticed after I work out my skin gets really red and flushed in my face and shoulders and chest, just like a sunburn (its -20 C here so there is no sun right now). From what I read from past threads this could be blood vessels dilating and coming to the skin's surface. Normally I wouldn't be concerned by this because I've had this naturally before somewhat but in the last few weeks my skin's been red all the time, but just worse after my workout.

I'm going to see my doctor about it (even though they never really are much help), but before I did I just wanted to see if anyone else in here has had this problem and if they were able to resolve it? My blood pressure was 120/80 a few months before I started and that's what it's always been in the past give or take. Could the test/deca raise my BP this much or could it be something like vitamins I'm taking that are doing it? Vitamins never caused this in the past for me. The only difference is I'm taking alot more B vitamins now than I ever have.

Definitely keep an eye on your BP. That is not to be toyed with.

A friend told me it could be the L Arginine in my pre workout drinks that's been doing it as that stuff dilates the blood vessels. It would make sense because I've been upping the doses on that stuff lately and drinking all different kinds because of all the sample containers I've been getting. I'm going to check my BP and cut out preworkout drinks and see what happens. I'll post my results.

Yeah, I try to only add one thing at a time whether it be compounds or supplements. Otherwise I don't know the cause if I have a side affect or complication.

Let us know if cutting the pre-workout drink helps. That is interesting.

The niacin in preworkout drinks make my skin on my face and chest red and a little tingly. It's a slight allergic reaction in my case. I have to check the label to make sure it doesn't have niacin in it.

Update -> Been off pre-workout drinks for a few days now and the redness is starting to subside no doubt. Haven't been able to find a blood pressure machine (my town must have the only pharmacy in North America without one). I'm off to work tomorrow for a week so I'll now when I get back whether it's gone or not. I'm guessing in combination with AAS could be what caused my skin to be so bright red because I've on these drinks for years now on and off and it's never gotten to THAT point.

My brother in law also has an allergy to the niacin.. But beta alinine causes a lot of tingling and the arginine could make you red..

My face (mostly around my chin/below my bottom lip area, around my nose) would turn bright red and I couldn't pin point what was causing the reaction. It was pretty bad and it went on for months. Found out my pre workout drink (super pump) was causing my face to turn red. I switched to NO-xplode and the redness went away over time and now its gone completely since i don't consume a pre workout drink anymore. It was pretty bad, but whatever was in super pump it caused a reaction that I couldnt get rid of for months until i stopped using it. I thought it was the gear the whole time.
