    Test E 250mg cycle/ working shift work

I have had some symptoms of low test for a while, i believe i've probably always been on the lower side. Got some blood work done a few months back and while my levels were on the lower side of normal range, they are not in healthy range for a 26 y/o male (511 total 13 free). For the last 2.5 years I'm Countinually tired, lethargic, loss of libido, bad workouts etc. It really feels like i force myself to move. I haven't touched anything in years and after quite some deliberation i had to findout if test was as good as i remembered. So i took the plunge last friday and am planning on going 14 wks/ test e 250mg per week.

My question relates to my job. I just got a new position and it entails doing shift work. This week for example i worked 6pm-6am on sat-sun. M-F i do 10pm-6am. I get the next 7 days after that completley off, and then the next week i would do 6am-6pm for 2 days and back to 8 hour days.

Even though the hours aren't too bad I'm hoping the variability in my schedule won't effect me too much while on. It's a good job and a very good move in my career so i will probably have this schedule for the next 1-2 years at least. Do you think this will be too much strain on my system the one week where i do night work? I'll do the night shifts about once every 5 weeks followed by a full week off.

    Thanks all for the input

    You'll live.
    511 isn't bad on a scale from 241-827.
Your free could be lower but your levels change throughout the day. Best time to check is in the AM after a good nights sleep. If you drink the night before they'll be low, if you don't sleep well, they'll be low, if you eat shitty, they'll be low. How is everything else? Did you run estradiol and a CMBP

i work 3rd shift and ill agree it does make it more difficult to stay on schedule, just try to eat and sleep as much as possible and figure out a time to take your doses that will work with all your shifts and try to stick to that time. took me a while to get it all figured out, but thats life, just do it.

How do you think your recovery time for lifting has been affected by shifts?

    Daytrader,

This is slightly off topic, but I actually would like to ask you a question.

I too have had bloodwork done and am on the lower end of normal for test. I was contemplating 500mg/week (over 2 x 250mg shots) of test E. However I keep reading people can gain up to 20lbs on this - which I dont want over 12 weeks!

    I am considering 1 x 250mg shot of test E a week, like yourself.

What results are you expecting? Also will you be running PCT?

Cheers for your help, and sorry to intrude, but I really would love to nut this out!
