    pinning question

After you stick yourself you're supposed to pull out a little bit to see if any blood comes. Well if you did it correctly and no blood comes out, what does come out? I mean if you're pulling up on the syringe then something has to come out right?

I believe you, but it seems odd that you would be sucking a bubble of air out of your body since isn't it bad for your body to inject air into it?

Lol, your creating suction whilst pulling back and you have made a hole whilst jabbing it in, it's easier for the air to suck through than to pull tissue through.

Nothing comes out. You just draw a vacuum, which looks like an air bubble.
