1st Cycle Understanding
I'm sure that something similar has been posted before, so please feel free to redirect me.
After reading Ronnie Rowland's "You'll want to read this!" thread, I am little confused... First with the length of my cycle, and secondly with the PCT. I really stress that I want to be 100% on the what, when and how. My body is a temple, right?
I'll be starting my first cycle come the new year. Test E (500mg/w) & Dbol (20mg/w). This needs clarification.
I understand the reload and deload system, and don't doubt it's effectiveness. My only query here is because I don't want to do more than 2-3 cycles in my life. In a year from now, I'd like to be completely off steroids and back to a healthy and natural hormone function in order to fulfill some of my life's performance goals that require considerable cardiovascular strength in the near future (i.e. swim the channel). I also don't want to be a monster220~ is my goal. It is for those reasons that I am undecided- a 12 week cycle, as a friend recommends (and backed by some considerable gains on his part), or an 8 week cycle as Ronnie prescribes?
I understand I'll want to wait at least 2 weeks, if not 3, after the final shot, to start my PCT. It is my understanding that clomid, at a daily dose for 3 weeks, should do the trick. Others prefer nolva. I've read a lot about how nolva is null and void with the advent of the AI, specifically letro. I do need help here.

You are 18 and just now starting to grow, staying natural is best. Work on ur diet and keep working hard
No need to use extra test when you are at the peak of natural test

Training for 2 years ? And a year ago u were 120... You gained 50 pounds in 1 year ... I honestly think now of you stop eating like ur 120, and start eating like your 190 your should get mad gains ...

I hit my major growth spurt pretty early 13, I haven't grown more than 4-5 inches since age 14. Also, I really don't want to get any taller!
I was unaware that 18 was too young- I'll take that on board. When you say dangerous, what exactly do you mean? I do apologize, but I'm sure you can understand that backing down completely from taking steroids is a hard one to swallow. I started lifting in February of last year. So I've been lifting for 1 year and 9 months.
My diet is pretty precise I believe. I did gain 50lbs during that time, and there was a period of 3 months that I was unable to workout. I eat a minimum of 2500 cals a day, aiming for 3k. My parents are in the nutrition industry, I've moved out now, but I've always been eating clean (no fast food, sodas, or other crapola). I try to adopt as much protein from my diet as possible, although I do drink a shake of whey isolate a day with breakfast, and another after every workout, with a little glutamine. A lot of my calories and protein come from a variety of sandwiches I'm always cramming down. I aim for 2g of protein per lbs of lean body mass, but except for lifting days I doubt I get there- no less than 1.5g a day though. I cycle on and off a little creatine pre-workout (with a little coffee) every other month. For the past 3 months I've been taking L-Carnitine and L-Arginine, which has somewhat of an anabolic effect, with success. I've tried a few of the more potent legal supplements on the market, but I really don't like the effects. BF at 10%~.
I used to workout everyday, but I've found that 4 times a week is the lucky number for me, with 3 additional and minimal (30-45 mins) cardio workouts. I can bench press my own weight for a few reps too, which is quite hard at my height... I focus a lot of form and range of motion than serious power, and a lot of negative work.
Some back story- I was 122lbs because I broke my jaw, and was unable to eat anything but liquid. I wasn't really skinny for my age/height until that incident.Last edited by Audiofreak37; 11-27-2011 at 04:40 PM.

Wow. That puts things in perspective for me...
I thought that 170-220 was perfect steroid time for me, but I should be weighing closer to 220 by the start of my cycle then, right? If that's the case, I doubt I'll ever go on them.

I think I can easily hit my goal of 220 by the time I'm 20, let alone 25. So you're right. You are right. Steroids aren't for me.

I though the same ... Think of this way... Go on a steroid cycle diet ... Up your calorie and protein as you would on a cycle ... See your weight go up natty ... The thing is with diet you can go up ... No need to Risk your balls at your weight ... I say ... Just stick to food and weights till , 24 ...
