Following My Dream
Do you guy's think my dream to become a 'professional bodybuilder' is something that i should follow, i no they do say follow your dreams, but i know if i want to achieve my maximum potential then i will have to take some form of a steroid . This is something what i feel nervous about doing, baring in mind i'm only 17 and i know for a fact that they shouldn't be taken so early in life.
Only been going to the gym for roughly just over a year 1/2 and have grown to love bodybuilding.
When will i know the time is right, i mean alot of people/pro's do start taking them at an early age, is this really a big mistake for these people even though they are doing something they love ?
Thanks for any answers, sorry if it sounds all messed up and confusing.

Welcome but....there is a catch. You need to be 18 to be here.
And as far as steroids ? NO. Plain and simple. Please stay away from them. You could mess up your endocrine system for a long time if not forever. Ya see what happens is this: You are in your peak right now for producing testosterone . And if you start taking synthetic test then your own natural production feels it is no longer needed so it start to shut down. "tis true.
Messing with a good thing is never a good idea in life so take your edge while ya got it. And learn to eat right. Keep this in mind:
FOOD IS YOUR BEST CHEMICAL.
Good luck.
You can read here so keep learning.
Good luck to you on your dreams. You can do it naturally for a long time with counting every single macro and training to perfection.Life is too short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly.Author Unknown

To be at an elite level at anything requires extreme dedication, good genetics, and some luck.
Out of the millions of young boys that want to be a NFL foot ball star, there are only 32 teams x 11 members per squad x three squads per team that are first stringers in any given year.
Pretty slim odds if you ask me. What I'd suggest is to hold on to your dream, nothing wrong with that, and do three things for now
Learn everything you can about Body Building (knowledge)
Learn all you can about diet and nutrition and practice it
Learn all you can about lifting routines and practice it
Then, in a few years, you will be able to see if you have the right genetics to be at an elite level in body building.
We have some highly experienced vets here, and they can tell you first hand it takes more than you might suspect.
Good luck!
