I just got my cycle all set up and good to go only thing is I was planning on running my arimidex at .5 every day. when I got them they are 1mg capsule! Is it possible to take one ever 4th day or even every 3rd?

The half life of ADEX is 50 hours, so after 2 days there is still half the dose available in your blood. You can do 1mg EOD day,but what i have seen the typical dose is .5mg ED or .5mg EOD depending on how much aromatasing compunds you use.You would really need a blood test for estrogen levels to see how much you need.

Eighty-five percent of radiolabeled anastrozole was recovered in feces and urine. Hepatic metabolism accounts for approximately 85% of anastrozole elimination. Renal elimination accounts for approximately 10% of total clearance. The mean elimination half-life of anastrozole is 50 hours.

thats a bummer, stupid the way they capsuled such a large amount!!

EOD is usually the minimum for adex, Swifto would advise you best with this

Ok picked up some empty capsules from the vitamin shop did the transfer and now have .5mg caps of my arimidex. Gtg

how do you know you've got a .5mg concentration if split into two? i assume there are filling substances in the caps?

Ok Dec you may be right. I'm not sure if it is .5mg per cap now. And if the life is now considered to be 3 days would it be wiser to just take the original cap every 3 days? I have only taken 2 so far, thats 1mg in 4 days. Tomorrow I would take my third. I only made 4 pills as to test this theory.

id personally go with 1mg e3d if it was me

Honestly I do respect your advice and knowledge. I will begin taking my arimidex e3d. I'll go get blood work done to see where I'm at in a few just to make sure all is well. Although I'm learning I'm still new to this so again I appreciate the guidance.

the best way to do it, although id give it one week, iirc adex takes 3-4 days to hit peak concentration and levels at 7days. swifto could prob tell you straight off the bat mate
