Could last cycle be related to depression?

Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while, but this is by far the best place i can get my answer from.

Last year (from Feb to April - 12 weeks) did my first cycle: 500 mg test E per week . PCT was Nolva for 4 weeks. Results were good, strength went up significantly, didn't gain to much size wise but still i was satisfied.

then 2nd cycle (Aug to Oct) did the same 500 mg test E but add 40 mg D-Bol ED. Pct was the same. My strength again went up significantly, but i noticed with the D-bol, i was very bloated looking, and to be honest, didn't like it ( positives however being lifts went up and didn't touch alcohol-didn't want my liver getting hit too hard).

The thing is a couple of weeks after the 2nd cycle, i fell into a severe depression ( have a history of drug abuse to be honest and mild depression), had to take time off work, and was prescribed Effexor ( anti-dep)....feel better now

Could the 2nd cycle have anything to do with this? D-Bol? Lack of a full and proper PCT(Clomid)?

Thanks in advance, i know you guys might not be psychologists, but you all have extensive knowledge on steroids and their effects.

Oh yeah , stats ( don't know if needed):

    29 years old
    5'11" 205 lbs 14% bf
    8 years training
diet good ( could be better)

    thanks for response...

yeah i should have gone the full length with PCT, couldn't easily get Clomid though

low test probably makes sense, i had barely any libido, i'm feeling better now ( Effexor helps) , libido back, i will get my bloodwork done

I wonder how many people do cycles and realize it's a one way route to TRT?
