Anyone heard of this side effect?

I have a problem with erections that wont go away. Been to the hospital twice to have my penis drained not a pleasant thing. I'm taking 200mg per week of test cyp. The erections happen at night every couple hours it will get hard and if I get up right away for a few minutes it will go down but the longer I leave it hard without getting up the harder it is to get to go down. Sometimes it won't go down then to the hospital I go. My urologist said that I'm taking to much test and he thinks that is the problem he just told me yesterday to stop for a month and then he will test my T levels and see where there at and see if the problem goes away. From reading on here seems like I'm taking very little compared to most. My buddy said he thinks it is estrogen because I'm not taking any blockers. Has anyone had or heard of this problem?
    Any help would be great.

Sex don't help tried that several times. It was hard for 9 hrs before I wen't to the hospital it hurt so bad by then you could barely touch it. Doctor said anything over 8 hours can cause permanent damage and impotence.

This could also be caused by certain blood disorders and some medications for depression, blood thinners etc.......You doc needs to order some blood work, some of the causes can be rather serious. Dont wait around on this.

Curious as to how do they drain it as the hospital? Do they drain each corpus cavernosum? No, that doesn't sound pleasant at all.

I would just have to live with the erection. That sounds painful as hell.

Yes they numb it with a pin like at the dentist then then they drain it with a real large pin in several spots around it so yes I guess they do each one then they flush it with saline and ep-in-ep=hrine or something like that same stuff the shoot in your heart when your dying. I looked away. No supplements or E--D stuff. Urologist already ran blood for all the other stuff came up with nothing. I'm on a handful of stuff from my cardiologist as I had a heart attack a couple of years ago. I think its one of those or a combo of them but the urologist dismissed that idea and went right to the test saying he has never prescribed more that 200mg every other week there for my levels must be way to high. Was on the test 9 months before my heart attack (clogged artery) with no problems. 3 months after the heart attack and all the stuff they gave me I had my first problem with priapism and a trip to the hospital. I just wan't to make sure I figured if it were a problem I would have read about it on here already. I'm going to make an appointment with my cardiologist and talk to him about it and the stuff he has me on.

The erection is painful as well. So, it is a no-win situation.

    Seriously Guy,

If you do have problems with erections that will not disperse on their own, I would leave test alone for the time being. As I am sure you are aware this can be a very dangerous thing if you are unable to have it treated in time for some reason. The only other thing I can suggest is to ask your doctor if there are some kind of pills that you can take to prevent erections (other than estrogen etc of course) so that you can safely use test. If these are not available I would definately leave test alone for now its simply not worth the risk.

This sounds Horrible!!!! And embarassing!!! Just how exactly does one tell the nurse they have a boner that won't go away. Good Luck to you bro. I hope they figure out what's wrong very soon.

P.S. Sorry to make light of the subject, but have you ever thought about doing porn. I bet you could make bank with that kind of stamina!

What about saltpeter? Would that work. The ONLY thing I know about it is it keeps you soft down there. Might ask your doctor about that maybe.

I know; I just couldn't image having to go up and tell them that. Hell, I'm almost 30 and I won't even go have my prostate checked cause I'm the shy type when it comes to my privates...especially the back one. I pray I'm never in the situation like OP.
