    Week Off

I've decided to take a week off from training, what are everyone's thoughts about this? Haven't taken a week off in over a year, also, I'm in PCT right now. Would this be okay?

I have worked consistently hard this year and just hit the wall. I am finishing up two weeks off and feel great. I have not been keeping track of my micros, but have been pretty good about sticking to my calorie count.

I don't do PCT (I'm on TRT) so I don't know how it pertains to that.

If your macronutrient and caloric intake are where they are supposed to be then a week off won't hurt.

I usually take a week off every 4 months. Work on stretching, foam rolling and flexibility

I would not take a week off on pct. Finish your pct then continue with your normal lifting routine for another 4 weeks. Then take your week off. Imo taking a week off on pct is a big mistake. You need to be working hard to keep those gains.

He said a week off from training, not a week off from PCT.

I know I need to work hard to keep gains, but I also don't want to go catabolic by trying to overdo it until I'm back to normal. Gaaah, this looks like itll be a last second decision.

I know I said it would not be wise to take a week off from training during pct.

Definitely don't train as intense as you did on cycle but don't stop training. You need to be working hard right now to solidify those gains. Wait until you are totally recovered then take a week off.
