    Starting the process...

    I've been lurking here for a while, and have done my fair share of reading, though I know there is still much to learn (I would never assume I know everything). I'm hoping with the doctors input, you guys' input, I won't **** myself up...

    I scheduled an appointment with a "anti-aging" clinic for early January, and have already received my documentation for bloodwork. I'll be sure to request the results and post them here for comments. It was requested that I get: "chem 6", "cardio panel II", "male panel IV". I see the last panel has total and free testosterone included in the description.

    I will have the results before the appointment, and will bring dr. Crisler's treatment plan with me.

    So, here are my dumb questions:

    1. Am I missing something?

    2. Provided that all goes ok, and I get a perscription, will the dosage be enough to be anabolic?

    3. For people who are complete pussies with needles, is it common to go to a clinic and have them pin you, or can you go to Walgreens for example? Taking steroids orally isnt a good idea from what I've gathered.

    FWIW, I'm 38 and have been lifting for a few years. I've been alternating between Layne Norton's Full Power/Hypertrophy routine and Bill Star's 5x5. My diet isn't bad, though I'll definitely be tweaking it a bit. Currently I'm 5'10, 165# and about 15% BFP.

    If you have never cycled before you will notice 350 mg a week of test. Once you move up to 500 mg week you will feel a major difference. Im not sure about Anti aging clinics but i believe they generally do hormone repla***ent only. That being said Im sure you can find a doctor who will give you more test or find a source on many boards and forums on the internet. If you are afraid of needles you would have to go to a clinic or find a qualified person to do it for you. have someone show you, you will get over it after the first couple of time.

    this is a tough call. If you were simply going on TRT, a minimal dose of 150-200/wk is plenty. But since you want to add muscle mass (my assumption) I tink you should really rework your diet and training and see how far that can take you before attempting an actual muscle building cycle.

    If you will be on TRT anyways (simulating test levels of a much younger male), start off at the lower dose and with a proper diet, training and rest you will probably see good results in the first year. I would wait till you put on a little more solid build mass before jumping into higher dose anabolically built mass.

    Just my $0.02, but probaby better for you in the long run
