Progesterone:what does it do. What do I do about it.

Planning my next cycle. Thinking about trying Deca or Tren , but I would like to get a better overall understanding of progesterone and its relationship t 9 nors. Can anyone direct me to a link that explains progesterones role in the body and how 9 nors impact this as well as the measures we take to avoid problems? I like to understand as much of the big picture as I can before I start tinkering w/ my body.

    Thanks in advance.

Google is your friend bud.. as far as controlling it b6 prami bromo or caber. I find b6 hard to believe to be enough to sufficiently control it but some swear by it. Do alittle research a lot of threads on this subject.

Searched all the threads on progesterone, progestins, tren , and deca . A lot of good info, but no real overview of what progesterone does in our bodies, and how these progestins interfere with that. I know a lot of guys on here are deep into the science of all this, so I was hoping for a link.

In that case I can't give you a link but from my understanding this may be incorrect but for gynecomastia (my biggest concern with AAS I've already had the surgery once) from progesterone/prolactin there must be a presence of estrogen for it to do anything. Most say control the estrogen with an AI and you shouldn't have any problems, but again others say prami caber bromo or b6. I know this probably isn't the type of answer your looking for but hopefully it'll help alittle.

Why are you worried about progesteron?

There is NO evidence 19-Nor's increase progestrone levels and if they did you problem would be gyno. Because the progesterone receptor is synthesised in response to the estrogen receptor in healthy breast tissue, your answer is simple, Tamoxifen .

Progesterone does have important roles in males, such as core body temp., stimulates osteoblasts which leads to a reduction in osteoporosis, is a potent neuroprotectent and anti-inflammitory, CNS function, spermatogenisis, sperm function, prostate health (as it inhibits 5-AR), DHT levels, etc...

    I could go on...

Progestins enhance male hormonal contraceptive efficacy when combined with androgens, an effect attributed to increased hypothalamic-pituitary suppression of gonadotropin secretion directly or through the androgen receptor. Brady et al. compared the effects of progesterone and the synthetic progestin, desogestrel, on gonadotropin secretion and GnRH responsiveness in normal men. Although both progestins decreased LH and FSH secretion, only progesterone decreased the LH response to GnRH. These results demonstrate that progesterone affects gonadotropin secretion through progesterone receptors and provide evidence for such inhibition at both the hypothalamic and pituitary levels.
