    Has anyone ever heard of a doctor prescribing Winstrol ?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanozolol - Apparently they do; however, I imagine it's not very common.

    Most usually Winstrol is used in VET medicines these days. Depending your part of the world.
