    Lump in muscle, hematoma?

Did a quad shot 2 weeks ago, and within two hours was swollen and sore. An infection wouldnt happen that fast so im thinking it bled like a mofo.

It got smaller and less painful last week, but this week tho smaller still, i feel like its causing pain down my leg like charlie horse type pain or sciatica when i straigten/extend my leg.
Its kind of a hard lump, like inside the muscle.
Ever had this happen and how long did it take to go away?.
If its not improved in a week, im going to dr.

What size of pin did you use? Did you do the injection fast? Did you warm the steriod before you pinned?

My general rule of thumb is, if it gets better, even if slowly, it will probably be alright. Lumps are part of injecting aas. My worst lumps are always in my pecs. It takes about 2-3 weeks for the lump to completely go away. Not painful and I can train through it. But for some reason that muscle always leaves me with a knot.

Things to be concerned about are redness, obvious swelling/edema, fever. I've had one quad infection and I experienced edema, redness and swelling. No fever and no isolated lump.

I agree, if you don't experience some significant improvement soon, I would see the DR. You are already 2 weeks in. Watch for other symptoms as stated.

Scorpion...it was a 23, and i injected quite fast. I've done litterally hundreds of shots and usually treat each one like a ritual, shoot it slow..but i was late for work and rushed, my fault. I also dont think my muscle was fully limp and didnt massage afterwards. I always preach "treat every shot like its your only one!" now look at me..grrr..

Boss....no redness or swelling, or fever, def not infected.

Im gonna go train legs today light and see what happens. I just hope its not hardening into something that can't be taken out
Muscle is very active tissue though and with the way i do cardio i would think it would break down over time. I will also start massaging it.

try to strech it bro no matter how tough it is to do so...eventually you will get its flexability back and hopefully flush out the muscle of whatever is causing the pain and stiffness...if you can do a leg work out that may do the trick as well just getting the muscle pumped with fresh blood helps flush out the pain for me as well...
