take it. Yes those are possible side effect. Whats more important? Stopping some bloating or breathing?

I've been on prednisone on and off for 10 years for my health issues
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

I am guessing you are on a short course of therapy. The side effects you mention are usually the result of long term usage. I would not stop taking it on your own

Indeed this type of steroid is typically prescribed for short periods of time, too short for this to be a serious concern. What should be of concern however is its ability to temporarily suppress the immune system. For instance, I was once prescribed this while on a cycle of sustanon. When I finished the cycle, I had been finished with the pred for about a month, and contracted severe bronchitis. Similarly I have almost always contracted a common cold after finishing a cycle of anabolics. The best thing you can do is take the prednisolone as prescribed and take plenty of supplements every day for the next several months that support healthy immune function such as echinecea, full doses of Vitamin C, etc. This with a healthy diet full of vegetables and EFA's should serve you well.

Its a steroid prescribed to people with asthma, also it makes your bladder go out of controll, make sure you drink a lot of fluids while taking it as it can easily dehydrate you.

It's more commonly prescribed for problems other than asthma. This comment doesn't even begin to address his issues. Where do you keep coming up with this crap?

it did not make you loose muscle that fast. I''ve been on doses probably alot higher then you are on and on them for years straight.

and high doses do effect my sleep too

I keep coming with it as i am an asthmatic and i get pred 15 prescribed to me as it is indeed a steroid for pulmonary and inflamation aid. Thats where. Maybe use your interenet and reseach what is mainly used for, it is also prescribed for allergies, and skin reactions that cannot be treated by ointments. Like i said your fill of it. Stop calling people out that know much more than you.

^^^^ Agreed. I've taken for a month at a stretch for my colitis and didn't notice any muscle loss. I've also taken it short duration for bronchitis and no issues there either.

I would listen to the DR and take the prednisone.

Since its just short term ride it out and get better. Something I wouldnt take long term though for many reasons.

Slow down brother. I've been prescribed prednisone/prednisolone many times and it has never affected my sleep. Aren't you on a cycle right now? Don't you think the increase in blood pressure from anabolics is affecting your sleep?
