Check that out but in my opinion the easiest places to hit are quads, delts and glutes. Make sure you aspirate and that way you will know if you are in a vein. I am sure you are joking about the dieing because of course you won't die if you hit a vein but it does suck really bad.

thanks. im 23. im am a compettitive athlete, NOT a strength athlete per say. I have been lifting weights since my teens, i know how to eat, follow and regimen and know the importance of rest. i am 175 lbs 5'8 and relativley lean. Do you think im still growing? Is it true that you could be short changing your shoulder width? My brothers and older male relatives some r smaller then me and some are relativly tall ( 6'2-3). Do u think now, is a good time to to experiment with a cycle? I want something to look forward to in regards to training again the last year or so has fet real monotonous and I have noticd a slight dip in my recovery abilities as compard to my teens and early 20's. Any advice is appreciated. thanks im looking forward to learning alot and reading up on all the info on this site. Thans for taking the time to reply

When you say that you're a competitive athlete, what in particular do you compete in?
At 23, there are certain parts of your body that are in all probability still growing, such as your endocrine system. The general opinion is that you should not experiment with anabolic steroids until you've reached the age of 25, as this is when the typical male's hormone system has at last stopped developing. If at your age you are noticing a reverse in your ability to recover, the fact that you stated monotonous is probably a good indication that it's time for you to reevaluate your diet and exercise regimen. I wouldn't start cycling steroids just yet. Instead go over to the workout and nutrition forum and ask questions there. We have a lot of members who can help you to maximize both of these areas that attribute to your development.

I'm glad you have such an open mind about this Cafe, & you're asking all the right questions. At your age, your Endocrine & HPTA are not fully developed yet, if you cycle now, there is a significantly greater risk of doing potentially irreversible damage to those undeveloped systems. You could end up with E.D. (limp dik problems) chronic fatigue & depression, as well as a host of many other problems. You should wait until at LEAST 25.

Will def take this advice into serious consideration. I dnt want to do any permanat damage to my body. At the same time, couldnt all or most of the sid effects be reduced through proper regimen? like post cycle and nutrition etc.

Yes and no. The short-term side effects of estrogen are almost completely controllable, and gonad atrophy is easily combated. However, those aren't the side effects we're talking about. When you introduce synthetic hormones into your body at a point when the body is still developing its own hormone-producing organs, there is a serious potential to prevent those organs from being fully developed. What this means is that in the long run, you could inhibit your body's ability to produce natural testosterone , among other hormones for the rest of your life, and obviously this is something you want to avoid at all costs.
