Started taking dbol 5 days ago, will be running for 4 weeks @ 40mg/day (Its stacked w/ Test Prop @500mg/wk.

I just finished killin a chest workout, I was on my last set of weighted dips when all of a sudden I got this terrible pain in my back. It occured in the upper 2/3 of my back, right side. Felt like someone was grinding their knee in to my back for a good 10 min. Never experienced this feeling before... Could it be a back pump? It came outta nowhere and I can still feel it very minimally 16hrs later. Could just be coincidence from pushing too hard?

What's the best way to prevent these? Taurine @ 2000mg/day?

Doesn't sound like a back pump at all. Usually the back pump is lower back and it will gradually build, not strike all of a sudden. You probably tweaked something, hard to say what. If you are barely feeling it 16 hours later, probably no big deal. A muscle tear will usually cause cramping and back spasms. The body wants to contract surrounding muscle as contracted muscle is less likely to tear then stretched muscle.

I would try to split up the Dbol 2x ED dosing. Works fine for me and people I know well that way.

I've been experiencing a lot of back pumps over the last few weeks as a result of taking 50mg Anadrol ed, and just like the Boss pointed out, that doesn't sound like back pumps. But for future reference, if you do get back pumps from Dbol, take Taurine and a lot of it. I've been taking 2,000mg throughout the day, 2k pre-workout, and 2k during workout to keep it under control, but it still hasn't disappeared; it's simply at a manageable level pain-wise now.

No, actually you see taurine in energy drinks because it helps to reduce hypertension and blood pressure. Taurine is an amazing supplement. Taurine is essential for cardiovascular function, the development and function of skeletal muscle, the retina and the central nervous system. It has also been shown to be effective in removing fatty liver deposits, preventing liver disease and reducing cirrhosis, just to name a few benefits. A substantial increase in the plasma concentration of growth hormone was reported in some epileptic patients during taurine tolerance testing (oral dose of 50 mg/kg bw/day), suggesting a potential to stimulate the hypothalamus and to modify neuroendocrine function. It's unclear what levels of taurine constitute toxicity however, so while I do take a buttload of the stuff, I in all honesty do not know what the potential fall-back of doing so could be. I just know that it's very effective in treating my back pumps

Def not a back pump. It's lower 1/3 of back. Like from your crack up about 6 inches. And it's a gradual build up. Dips work your back heavily and you most likely pulled somthing. Only organs in upper r quadrant of body are lungs. Good luck and hope you're back up to speed soon. Injuries heal quicker on cycle too. Also if you take glutamine it will help

That's cool, I'm often confused for a brain.

I buy it in capsule form filled with powder. Early in the day I just swallow the caps, but just prior to workout I open the caps and sprinkle it in water. I also drink Gaspari SizeOn during my workout and sprinkle 2k mg in the mix before adding water so that it will be absorbed throughout the workout.
